Tuesday and Wednesday

Lily sat alone at breakfast. Alice sat with Frank. Marlene with Liam, who was relieved, she hadn't broken up with him. Sirius glanced, jealous at them. Remus was talking to Peter. James seemed to have found his courage and went towards her. "Um..Evans" Lily didn't look up nor did she answer. "I just wanted to say, that I'm sorry". Lily's head went up, quickly. Both Marlene and Alice noticed. Marlene kissed Liam and said, that she'd see him in herbology and Alice kissed Frank, and asked him to follow with the guys to DADA. Alice and Marlene hurried over to Lily. Alice said: "You go, I'll tell him" Marlene nodded and pulled Lily with her. Marlene got Lily out FAST.

James looked angry: "What was that for". Alice looked at him. "Look James, I'm gonna tell you something, that you need to get in your head. Lily had decided, that she would listen to us this year. She wouldn't try and be your friend, but she would stop yelling at you every second of the day. It took us FIVE years to get her there. And, and you just go and ruin it. She won't yell at you unless she sees need to. So I'm begging you, leave her alone" Alice left and left James in shock. He could have won her over. He could have hung out with her. He bloody well wouldn't leave her alone.

In DADA Lily was scribbling down notes, when writing appeared.

Lily, please forgive me, I didn't mean to hurt you -JP

Lily ignored it, but charmed it so her friends could see it as well. Short after more writing appeared.

The conversation vanished from Lily's noted. She was relieved.

Nothing happened in transfiguration or herbology. Classes were done for that day. Lily hid in the library for the rest of the day. After dinner she went up to the common room. She ignored James. "Remus, are you ready" "Yep" Remus and Lily left. James was sad, he wanted Lily to talk to him.

"So Lily, how are you?"

"Oh you know, the usual stuff, how about you"

"Me, I'm fine, and don't hate me for what I'm gonna say now"

"Potter made you promise to talk to me, am I right"

"Lily, he really isn't as bad as you make him to be"

"I know, and I was willing to not shout at him every five minutes, but him being him ruined it".

"Lily"

"Don't Remus, I don't want to, he's making fun of me. He really just makes fun of me"

"He isn't"

"Remus, I have something more important to talk to you about"

Remus knew it wouldn't help. She'd given up on James.

"And that is"

"I know"

"What do you know"

Lily wouldn't say the word, so she handed him a note.

"Oh, how do you, um"

"I'm not stupid, you know, and I just wanted to say that I don't care"

"Okay, good, um, you won't tell anyone will you"

"No, I won't"

Remus and Lily returned to the common room. James and Sirius was still there. 'Night Remus" "'Night Lils"

"Lils?" "I know, I know, she sort of isn't the type you can stay mad at, just because your friend is" "No, no, it's just new"

Remus didn't tell them Lily knew. They didn't need to know.

Nothing happened Wednesday. Lily ignored James and he decided to leave her be for a day.
