Jily - forever 21

Hospital wing

James and Lily woke at the same time in the hospital wing, in front of them were many gifts and sweets from their fellow Gryffindor’s as a thanks for the many points they earned the day before. They grinned at each other as they could hear all of their friends trying to get past madam Pomfrey. “NO, they can´t have visitors, get out NOW.” They could hear Sirius: ”Come on Poppy, just 5 minutes.” “You get 5 minutes and not a second more, understand, they need rest. Remus, Peter, Frank, Alice, Sirius and Marlene came over. Marlene and Sirius were holding hands. James and Lily gave each other a knowing look. “Now, you two, what happened yesterday, the rumors have been all over the place” Alice was asking. Lily didn’t really feel like telling them, so she just told James to tell them. They all turned their heads at James. “Well we were walking” he started, but was cut of by Alice. “Why were you walking together?” Lily looked Sirius and Marlene in the eyes and answered: “There was people in the common room.” Sirius and Marlene looked guilty at each other, and James continued: “and then Sniv, Snape came up and started talking to Lily, so we turned around and tried to leave, but then three 7th years appeared in front of us and two 7th years came up behind us with Snape and then they started throwing curses at us and then I was smacked at the floor” Lily barged in: “Actually they threw the cruciatus curse at me and I didn’t notice and James shielded me, and that´s what smacked him to the floor.” Marlene and Alice looked grateful at James. Then Sirius asked: “Then what happened, you were in pain and there were 6 Slime balls left.” James continued: “Well then Lily hexed the three behind us, and they fell to the floor and then two of those behind us grabbed her in her arms and then the last one came up in front of her, but before he could curse her, she kicked him in the stomach and he fell, and then she smashed her elbows in the other two and then she petrified all of them, got me up and levitated them up to Dumbledore.” Now they were all staring at Lily in awe.  “How did you do that, 6 against 1, even 2 is bad odds for anyone” Remus asked. Lily replied: “They were pissing me of, should I just let them curse me. And when they did so I couldn’t hex them, I simply did what I would have done, if they were muggles, kicked them in their rightful places.” Marlene grinned: “They were pissing you of, well then I certainly wouldn’t want to be the one pissing you of.” Again Lily talked: “Stop talking like it’s a big deal, everyone would have done the same.” James talked again: “Um, no, they wouldn’t, no one would even dream of taking on 6.” Before anything more could be said Madam Pomfrey came back and threw the others out.
