Spencer Reid: Somebody's Watching Pt.2

Reid POV

I was so confused lately. Y/N won't talk to me, Garcia seemed mad at me and everyone looking at me like I'm missing the obvious.

Garcia comes over to me, dropping off some information for a case, and starts to walk away when I ask "Garcia, can I talk to you in your office for a moment?"

She looks around and hastily nods, leading the way I've walked a thousand times.

Penelope sits down in her chair and looks at me to start the conversation as if she doesn't know what this is about.

"Why is Y/N not talking to me?" I ask flailing my hands.

She glares at me, glares! Saying "As if you don't know, you dirty, sleazy heartbreaking, stupid-"

"Okay! Okay, I get the point, but seriously what did I do!" I yell thinking back to three months ago. I met Lila that day. She was a lovely girl but she just got swept up in the heroism of my actions and told me she was breaking things off.

She starts fuming "You know how many years that girl has been trying to get you to notice her! She worked so hard to make you feel good and then you start running around with little Miss Hollywood on a case not even noticing how she feels? For a boy genius, you are stupid because the best thing ever walked into your life and you messed it up!" She yells. She then takes a deep breath, grabs her coffee, and takes a sip.

I stand there dumbfounded "So what are you trying to say?"

She groans, hitting me "I'm saying she likes you, Reid! She likes you! She might even love you but that's not for me to decide"

"What!?" I exclaim, taking my seat

"Ask anybody," she says and Morgan passes by "Hey Sweet Thang"

"Yes, Sugar Lips?" He asks

"Does Y/N like Spencer?"

He laughs "Are you messing with me? She's been in love with the guy ever since she met him"Morgan then notices Spencer sitting in the chair "So he finally realized how bad he fucked up?"

Penelope nods and Morgan chuckles as he walks away.

I cough, standing up"Well, Garcia, if you would excuse me, I have wrong to write" I then run out the door to Y/n's apartment because I know she took the day off today.

"Go get her Loverboy!" Penelope yells, gaining a few looks from concerned colleagues which I ignore.

I approached her door and stopped when I was directly in front of it. Am I doing this? What if Garcia and Morgan were just messing with me and I'm going to ruin everything me and her have? Fuck it.

I knock on the door and hear shuffling coming my way.

When she opens the door I can't help but take her in. She looked so effortlessly beautiful. In a kind of way, I know she would tear herself down about but I found stunning. God damn, I'm stupid.

She looks surprised to see me

"Hey, Spence...What are you doing here?" She asks, opening the door wider to let me in.

I step through "Have I ever told you how stupid I am sometimes?"

She laughs, closing the door "What?"

I turn to her "Even with my knowledge on so many topics sometimes I'm the most clueless person in the room. I can't even realize when a beautiful woman such as yourself is attracted to me"

She looks at her feet "I'm assuming you talked to Garcia?"

He nods "Never is it my intention to hurt you in any way. My whole life women haven't noticed me that way which I've come to accept so when I fell for you I forced myself to get over you. Lila was straightforward with her intentions and I was basking in the fact that a woman sought me out and I-"

She was already standing right in front of me when she placed her lips on mine. It was feverish yet sweet and I didn't deny any of it.

She pulled away and said "Spencer, in my mind you will always be way too good for me, and no matter how hard I try I can't get over you. I'll ask you this, a simple yes or no question. Will you go out on a date with me?"

"Yes" I reply simply kissing her again
