I walk into Scoops Ahoy and look to the counter to see a guy with attractive floppy brown hair. He was chatting up a group of girls but it seemed like a one-sided conversation.
Eventually, they end up walking away and laughing and the guy looks sad. I give a fake pout walking up to the counter.
"You're trying too hard-" I look at his nametag "Steve"
He looks me up and down weirdly
"I'm just teasing ya dude" I chuckle "Can I-"
He interrupts me "Be taken on a flavor adventure led by yours truly, I promise it won't disappoint"
This Steve guy looks at me like I'm a piece of meat and I gag internally
"No way Stevey!" Robin says from Hey I,d a window "She does not get to be part of your game, sister orders"
"Sister?" Steve says confused and I hope behind the counter
I sigh "You are only older by a year, you can't tell me what to do. Anywho Sabrina is being a bitch so is it cool if I hang out for a bit?"
"I told you not to be friends with her," she says "Yeah, the boss man doesn't care what we do"
Steve is still bewildered at this point
"Okay Steve here's the gist," Robin says exasperated "This is my Baby sister Y/N, Y/N this is my sucker coworker Steve"
I put out my hand for him to shake but instead, he kisses the back of it which is half Cringey and half adorable. Robin glares at him
"What did I say!" She yells knocking him upside the head
"Oh now I'm gonna let him just to piss you off" I laugh
She squints at me "You. wouldn't. dare."
I giggle
Steve heads to the back and soon after a boy comes up to the counter with excited eyes.
"Hi"
"Hi" Robin replys awkwardly
He puts his hands on the counter "I'm Dustin"
"I'm Robin"
"Is he here?"
"Is who here"
Steve bursts out the door and I have to stifle a laugh when they do their handshake. This guy is such a dork, a cute dork, but a dork nonetheless
"How many children are you friends with?" My sister adds but I can't help but laugh this time

My sister had given this group of little girls about a thousand free samples by now and it was getting boring, so we made our way to the back room.
Robin was pissed they had erased her data but I was too busy focusing on Steve Harrington's face, it was oddly becoming more and more attractive.
"Our parents made us learn four different languages" Robin exclaimed and I came back into the conversation
"German?" Dustin asked
"our Yay tupid say," I say and they look impressed which makes me laugh
Robin groans "That's pig Latin dumbasses"
"Y/N will go on a date with you if you let us take over," Robin says looking at Steve
I gawk at her "Do I get a say in this?"
She shakes her head "No, I'm bored"
"Fine, but only because I have nothing better to do" I exaggerate, as I turn around to hide my Rosey cheeks
Steve's eyes widen "Really! Awesome I haven't had a date with a hot girl in months"
I turn around and smirk at him "You think I'm hot?"
"W-Wha- No I meant summer is hot and-" I step closer to him
I raise a brow
"Okay fine your hot but don't go getting too cocky" He admits stepping closer
We're like close now, really close
"Eh!" Robin yells "No making out with my sister when I'm trying to decode Russian"
We step back blushing furiously
I quickly sit down and exclaim "Let's crack some Russian kiddies!"
