"Oh, good morning, Kurapika," Izunavi greets his blonde-haired friend as he enters the room, "Where's (Y/N)?"

The Kurta stands from where he was sitting on the bed in surprise, but replies with, "Gon and Killua kidnapped her again, and insisted that I stay here.."

Izunavi chuckles at this, "Those boys will never learn, huh?" He eyes Kurapika up and down, "Are you feeling okay? I know how you get when you're away from her."

Kurapika only nods, "(Y/N) is doing better lately, she can handle herself. At least for a little bit. Although I was not too keen on the idea."

"They didn't give you a choice?" He wonders, raising an eyebrow.

Kurapika releases a defeated sigh, "They did not give me a choice."

Izunavi laughs, and takes a seat on the bed, motioning for Kurapika to sit down again (which he does.) "Since we've got some time alone here, let me ask you; How do you feel about (Y/N)?"

"She is a dear friend to me," Comes his simple response.

Izunavi glowers at him, and crosses his arms, "But it's more than that, isn't it?"

"No, we are just close friends," Kurapika argues back, avoiding his gaze.

A knock comes from behind them, a voice accompanies it, "Kurapika," Melody announces herself by speaking, "Killua said that you wanted to speak to me?"

"Yes, come in." He calls in response. The door opens and Melody approaches the bed, prompting Kurapika to speak, "I just wanted to touch base with you, that's all."

"Understood," She starts, "I haven't heard anything that we should be concerned with. Everything is normal within the hospital's walls."

"Don't try to change the subject," Izunavi pulls Kurapika's attention back to him, "Tell me how you feel about (Y/N)."

Melody produces a small giggle, quickly stopping when Kurapika glares at her.

"What is it??" Izunavi eagerly asks, "What did you hear?"

Kurapika doesn't quit glaring at her, causing her to apologize, "Sorry, Kurapika. I won't say anything."

"Come on, Kurapika. We're your friends, we're not going to judge you." Izunavi continues trying to persuade him, "Besides, it's not like I'm going to say anything to Cloak."

The Kurta finally lets out a defeated sigh, giving in to his persuasive master's requests, "I suppose you aren't going to yield anytime soon, so if this will end it, then so be it."

Izunavi gestures for Melody to sit down next to them, which she obliges to, joining them on the bed. The blonde man begins to confess, a blush covering his cheeks, while he watches the floor, "I have deep feelings for (Y/N). I suppose that I have for awhile, but I only came to realize when the possibility of losing her became evident."

Izunavi cheers at the news, while Melody smiles softly at him.

"Anyways, I have no intention of telling her while she is still in this condition. I absolutely refuse to add more stress to her life at the moment."

Izunavi boo's, but then nods in agreement, "I can see your reasoning, and I hope that you'll tell her once this is all over. You and Cloak are a good match."

"Thank you."

Melody giggles again, happily saying, "I can tell that you really care about (Y/N). Whenever you talk about her, your heartbeat elevates."

"I knew it!" Izunavi exclaims, overjoyed that he was right, "I'm sure that she feels the same."

Kurapika's eyes flash scarlet, "Y-You think so?!" But he composes himself quickly, "Regardless, this is not a good time to say anything to her."
