The discomfort that was present during dinner had definitely eased, but was still present in trace amounts. Jaime and I were stuck doing the dishes. The conversation that was supposed to take place at my room, was splitting my head, but talking about all this right now risked mom hearing about this to be inane conversation. So we tried to zoom through this chore. "So, my part is done. I am headed to your room. Be ready to listen to things that you have deemed ridiculous before." said Jaime. He made his leave. I just shrugged it off and worked on finishing my task of wiping the vessels and putting them in their respective cupboards and drawers.

The walk to my room was very ... discerning. I past the coffee table and saw the box which 'used to' have the crystal. I knelt and took the box in my hand. I opened it and the sight that stared back at me was surprising. There was no crystal in there. I just looked in the box, then looked at the crystal hanging around my neck. I just gaped at the positively stunning sight that was greeting me. I tired to think of a rational explanation, and only one came to my mind. Jaime had taken it before school. But, then he would not have any time to put the brown-leather string. How about when I was unconscious?

A million thoughts were bombarding my mind, and I had no way to explain the timeline. All I could do right now was walk up the stairs and attempt to embrace my destiny, whatever Jaime meant to say. I passed the all familiar door with a blackened skull on it, and went on to open the door after. My room. Jaime was uncontrollably rolling around in my chair. He hadn't even noticed me. "*Ahem Ahem*" I faked a cough. He swooshed to a stop and since he stopped immediately instead of gradually slowing the chair, he fell with the chair over him. "Are you both wrestling again. Because if you are, then you have had it from me!" shouted mom. Her footsteps sounded like a prehistoric yet powerful dinosaur, making its way to take a tasty bite out of us.

I looked back at Jaime and saw him twist his index finger of his left hand in a circular motion, and suddenly both the chair and him were floating midair. My mouth flew open. He aimed the finger at the chair, and then its usual place and the chair floated there. He then stopped twisting his finger and then dropped on the ground, brushing his jacket like nothing happened. He looked up to me. "Oh... yeah. You didn't know. Stay quiet or you will be stuck floating over your bed the whole night." said Jaime.

My mind ceased to work. It simply...overloaded. My eyes could not believe the sight that they had seen. Moms footsteps became louder and louder every second. But my mind still could not understand the happening of the near past. The door flew open. Mom glared at Jaime and then me. She saw Jaime in a neat and tidy manner, and then she saw me, exasperated. I thought that even she could not determine what the situation presented. But she had not just seen what I had seen. "No wrestling!" she just murmured while continuing to glare at us. Jaime smiled the perfect smile and said,"Yes mother", which seemed to calm her. My reaction however, was just an array of nods.

Mom also stood confused, but she made her leave, allowing Jaime to explain how the hell he pulled off that trick. " I have seen that look in your eyes. You are curious yet confused. Don't worry. I am here to explain and if you don't understand something, then dad will help." said Jaime. That sentence knocked the life back into me. "Like I said before. Dad is either dead or away. You are obviously denying that, and if you work in replacing that denial with-whoa" I interrupted myself as Jaime snapped his fingers and displayed a ghostly white illusion. It looked like dad. "Thanks Jaime. Hey Syl. It has been crazy trying to get you to believe that I was, am, still alive. And no, I am not in another country. I mean you could say I am, but no. I am in another dimensio-" I cut him short due to the sudden feeling of rage that grew in me. "You knew Jaime !" I cried out.
