I was dumbfounded. Jaime was plotting to kill me, his brother, to get stronger with his ally, who should be his enemy, Dao. I needed to get out of this weird building, go back to the grounds and tell Orvax and dad. They are probably the only ones who can make Jaime change his mind. But how could I get out of here without Dao and Jaime seeing me. The blue arrows showed again. This time, it pointed behind me. I quickly thanked the crystal, and carefully jogged out of the room while Jaime was telling Dao to "stop cracking puns!" The arrows meticulously led me around turns, until I blasted into a room full of giants. I quickly turned back and hid at the corner of the turn. I mentally shouted at my crystal, "Why did you lead me here!" The crystal finally decided to speak. "Please do not shout. I led you here because the giants will not be able to spot you while you are scuttling along the sides of the room. This was the fastest way out. There is a small opening at the other side of the room, which will lead you out of here."
I decided to trust my crystal. "Trusting me is the best thing you can do. I am the one who has mentally cut you from the connection you share with Jaime when you realized that he was acting dicey. Thanking me would be a long lost courtesy which you can fulfill." said the crystal acting all high and mighty. I smiled, and then in an extremely sarcastic tone thought out 'thank you'. Then, I walked to the side of the room, and tried running along, hoping these disgusting creatures did not notice me in their loud and aggressive arguments. I almost made it to one corner, when a giant snorted out and then boomed, "I smell human. Search the room!" I ran even quicker as the every other giant started looking around. I was barely 15 metres away from the hole in the wall, when one of the giants shouted out, "There's that little critter. Get him!" and I could hear the stampede after I imagined a large finger pointed towards my direction. "How dare this critter enter our living area!" another one shouted.
I asked my crystal if it could boost my speed and it replied, "Yes. Activating speed boost." Suddenly, I reached the hole, and went through it. I was going at like a hundred miles an hour! "Is this sufficient?" asked the crystal. "Definitely!" I shouted out, running at high speeds, following the wispy blue arrows to the mastery.
