After hearing what Dao said, I tried to keep a straight face. He is obviously joking. But what if he isn't. Why would he attack the monastery twice, consisting of people who have the power to kill him, if it isn't important. "Is this true?" I asked my crystal. "Yes." said the crystal. I could sense the disgust in his voice to admitting to this. He would never willingly, may never willingly commit that crime. "Hand it over now!" shouted out Dao. I looked around for Dad, Orvax and Tiara, but they aren't visible. Then I realized that we aren't outside the mastery anymore. We were in an opening in the forest. I was unsure about the path out from here. "Nice trap eh? Now give us the crystal or we will take it off your corpse!" boomed Dao.
I did what any normal human would do when there was a large giant shouting at them and threatening them would do in that situation. I charged. Now I didn't charge to attack him or Jaime, but I charged to throw them off, then run away from behind them. Dao looked startled and unsure, but Jaime looked like he had anticipated this move of mine. I strained my eyes ahead to spot some type of thread lining the boundaries of the opening. It seemed like it was lined with something.
I decided to steer clear, and looked behind me to find the same result. I stopped. I looked around, and realized I had lost my surprise on Dao. "Hmm, I guess Jaime here wasn't a bad choice. Now the crystal if you will." I realized that the crystal had been silent this whole time. "I didn't ask for this to be my fate. You are the best option for the carrier of the yellow crystal, but I the yellow crystal may not be perfect for you. We are out of time and options. Save yourself and cherish what little time you have left with your family and friends. Or pray to the one above as you humans say." said the crystal.
"You are the best friend I could ever have. And if I am going to cherish my time with friends and family, you will be there. Now, I need you to give me super sight since you may have given me the idea to get out of here, with you." I said, and then saw my sight go crazy particular and then I looked up. I saw the thread, but it was hardening because of the sun. After it hardens, I can break through it. "Time to waste time!" I thought.
