I woke up in a room filled with unidentifiable medical gadgets. They all seemed to be connected to me. I shifted my head slowly from the right to the left, scanning the room for who all were there. I noticed dad, Orvax, Tiara and Jaime. Jaime? I shot straight up when I realized that Jaime was in the room, and Orvax and dad came up to me. "You lived!" said both of them and dad came in gave me a big hug. Tiara was smiling like crazy, but Jaime was just barely smiling. He didn't even care if I was alive. What is going on with him? I shoved dad off of me, carefully, walked past Orvax and Tiara, straight to Jaime. I hugged him. He seemed surprised. I whispered to him," What the hell is going on with you. You could have helped me yesterday when I saved you from those monsters" and pulled back.

He looked sullen. He just looked sad and I for one felt sorry. I didn't know what was happening with him, but I was not going to let it go at that. I needed to help him. But I could only do so if he told me what was happening. I needed to get to know, without him finding out, because Jaime seems uncertainly dicey when his behavior ever since we arrived here is brought up. I then, still in wonder of what had happened to Jaime, turned around and asked how long had I been out. "Almost 2 days" replied Tiara, quite quickly and somewhat ecstatically. "WHAT!" I shouted out. "Wow that is a lot of training time wasted. Damn!" I said, stroking the back of my neck simultaneously.

I also felt hungry. So I excused myself from dad's and Orvax's company, who were busy in a heated discussion regarding whether I could have played the events of that night. I was just tired hearing them go back and forth. So I got up, and started walking towards the eating hall. Jaime and Tiara were quick to follow as I believe even they were not enjoying the argument inside there. Dad believed I could have used my 'sun blast' to get rid of all the giants, while Orvax tried to tell dad that I would have been knocked out much before if I had done that.

In the canteen, I walked in, and I expected the room to become suddenly quiet and talk silently about how I had survived the night out. But I was deeply mistaken. Tiara caught up and whispered " Your night out is being kept silent. People might try what you accomplished to show they are as good. We masters are competitive like that!" I just looked at her in question and disgust simultaneously. So I just walked over to the student standing behind the counter for lunch, and he said "Well done chosen one, well done" and the only thought that came to my mind was,"Heh?" Then I realized that the person behind the counter seemed oddly resemblant of someone from school. But I could not get a hold on who it was. "Move on ahead kid!" came a shout from behind, so I just shook my head and walked over to the next counter.
