"Wake up brat. Get up and get dressed, we're going somewhere." A gruff voice spoke, waking the youngest Todoroki up. Rubbing his left eye with a small half clenched fist, the child slowly sat up. It only took him a few moments to realize who it was that woke him up, and even less time to jump out of bed. The person with the gruff voice turned out to be none other than his father, Enji Todoroki. And when you were told to do something by Enji, it was better for everyone if you just do it. Enji, seeing his child starting to get ready, left with brief instructions to meet him downstairs by the front door. Left alone at last, the young Todoroki started to take his time getting ready as to not agitate his wounds any further.

A few days ago, the child and his twin woke up late into the night wanting a drink of water. Together they made their way to the kitchen, stopping just short of entering when they noticed their mother talking on the phone. She seemed to be in distress, tears leaking from her face and her voice choked and high pitched. A kettle could be seen boiling on the stove, going off, as if on cue, when the boys entered the kitchen clutching each other's hands.

"Every day, the children seem more like him. And the twins, those children's left and right side look unbearable to me. All I can see is their father. I can't raise them anymore!" Rei cried.

"Mommy?"

"Mom?" The two boys said together. They seemed to have startled their mother, causing her to jump, quickly hanging the phone up. She seemed hysterical, the tears flowing out of her eyes, her hands shaking and her eyes darting all around the kitchen. "What are you saying?" The soft child-like voice of Shoto spoke up, gripping his little brothers hand tighter. Both were starting to get scared, their mother wasn't acting like herself.

Before either boy could react, a kettle of boiling water was thrown their way, burning each boy. Shoto's left side of his face, around his eye, got burned, while Izuku's shoulder and neck on his right side got burned. Both boys fell to the floor, screaming out in agony. From there, everything became a blur, flashing lights, and yelling. When the boys had woke up the next day, they had bandages covering their burns, and their mother was gone. She was signed into a mental hospital by Endeavor, after all, she dared to harm his masterpiece.

"Izuku!" An angry voice yelled outside his door, followed shortly by banging. Yelping, the small boy finished pulling on his pants and rushed to open the door. Enji just huffed before turning around and leading the boy out of the house and into a car. From there, they sat in the car for what seemed like forever but in reality, it was only a few hours. When the car finally stopped, Izuku could see they were outside some big facility of some sort.

"Come on, get out the car." Endeavor said gruffly. Izuku immediately got out and followed his father into the building. People were walking around wearing lab coats, or walking around with fancy briefcases. A few stopped and stared at the two, or more especially, the wings on Izukus back. If one looked closely, one could see the greed in their eyes. Feeling a little overwhelmed, Izuku scooted closer to his father and latched onto his leg. Endeavor, feeling a small tug, glanced down at the young boy, noticing he was gripping his pants like his life depended on it. A look of disgust flashed across his face, causing him to quickly rip his leg away and leaving the child to stumble after him.

"Ah Endeavor, so nice to see you. Is this the child you mentioned over the phone?" A man in a business suit asked, walking towards the father and son.

"Yes. This is the boy with the wing-like quirk. Seeing as his quirk is in no way related to mine or Rei, I refuse to train the freak." Endeavors words hurt, as indicated by the small flinch the boy did. "I figured I could have someone else, who actually knows what they are doing, train the stupid little brat. Maybe then he'll be of some use to me." Endeavor said towards the man, causing him to let out a small laugh. The two started shaking hands before the man in the suit started leading the father and son duo away towards a room in the back.
