Izuku's POV

The car ride was awkward, to say the least. Endeavor seemed to be busy, his eyes never leaving his phone. He seemed to be doing work stuff, angrily tapping away on his phone and occasionally flipping through some papers on his lap. After glancing at some of the papers, I noticed it was sidekick applications and work-study applications. Huh, people actually want to willingly work with him, how pathetic. If everyone knew the true Endeavor, he wouldn't be nearly as popular and well-liked. I bet he wouldn't be within the top 1,000 heroes.

"We're almost to the house, clean yourself up and wipe that ridiculous look off your face." Endeavor gruffed out. Rolling my eyes, I straightened up in my seat and fixed my clothes to make them look neat and tidy. My face relaxed into an even more emotionless facade than before. Might as well play along as the perfectly behaved child he thinks I'm going to be. Ya right, he's dumber than I thought if he thinks I'm going to be another one of his pawns. I'll just continue pretending for the time being, until the time is right.

"We've arrived, sir." The driver spoke, getting out of the car and opening the door for Endeavor and me. Endeavor just grunted before collecting all his papers and putting them into his bag that seemed to appear out of nowhere. After putting the papers neatly into his bag, he stepped out of the vehicle and motioned for me to follow him inside. Taking a deep breath, I slide out of the car quite gracefully in my opinion, following him inside.

"Take your shoes off here, I don't want dirt tracked around my house. You can borrow Shoto's spare house slippers." Enji growled out, slipping out of his own shoes and into his slippers before grabbing a spare pair inside the small compartment next to the door. He dropped them on the floor before taking a few steps forward. I quickly swapped my shoes for the spare slippers, my bag hanging slightly off my shoulder as I leaned forward. "Leave your bag on that hook there. You can get it later and bring it to your room. I'm sure one of the other children will gladly show you around. Now hurry up, I can smell dinner." Quickly following his instructions, I placed my duffle bag on top of the small compartment before following my 'father' to where I remember the dining room was.

As we neared, Enji slowed down before coming to a complete stop. He turned his body halfway around, just enough to see me.

"Wait here until I call you in." He gruffed out before slipping into the room himself. Rolling my eyes as soon as he was gone, I leaned against the wall and closed my eyes. I guess I'll just wait here until he calls me in. Straining my ears, I listened in on their conversation.

"Good, you're all here. I've brought a guess tonight so I expect you all to be on your best behavior. Which means, no outbursts of any sort and no yelling." I hear Endeavor tell everyone, my siblings, before ruffling and small scratches were heard. I assume Endeavor took his seat. How rude, no bothering to wait until his guess took his seat before taking one himself. "You can come in now!" I heard him yell gruffly.

Taking another deep breath, I pushed off the wall before slowly entering the room, my chin held high and my face blank. When I entered, I seemed to have shocked everyone in the room, well, except my father of course. Taking a quick glance, I can see everyone hasn't really changed as much as me, but there were some things that are defiantly different about them. The biggest change being someone was missing, the seat Toya normally sat in was empty. Deciding to ignore it, for now, I headed to my old seat next to Shoto, ignoring all the looks I seemed to be getting.

"Izu-Izuku?" Fuyumi whispered. I glanced her way briefly after taking my seat, letting her know I heard her and confirming her question. I continued my blank expression and indifferent attitude, gently picking up my bowl of rice and chopsticks. After that, everyone stayed quiet, silently eating their food. Eventually, Endeavor finished eating and announced he was going to do more work in his office. But not before leaving strict instructions.
