A Hellish Situation

Chapter 4: A New Visit

(Carmine's POV)
I woke up feeling good as hell. I looked next to me to see Rebecca gone. I got up to find a note on my dresser. I picked it up and it read: "Hey Baby! Sorry but I had to leave due to a problem at work. Sorry we couldn't spend time the rest of the day! Love you!~Your loving future wife". I sighed and just remembered something.

"Shit Charlie!" I mumbled as I got dressed and walked to Charlie's room. I knocked them opened the door to see Charlie still asleep. I sighed and closed the door. I walked downstairs and made breakfast. I made eggs and bacon. When I was done I left a plate for Charlie and got mine. I went to the couch and turned the tv on. A few minutes past till Charlie came downstairs. I was going to say good morning but decided not to.

"Your plates on the counter" I said.

"Oh thank you" she said. I noticed that something was up. That's when I realized.

"Uh hey about last night...sorry about that" I said. She turned to me with a blush on her face. I guess she didn't expect me to bring it up.

"Uh don't worry about it Carmine" she said.

"Oh uh ok" I said turning back to the tv. A few seconds later she got up and sat next to me. I looked at her for a slight second then turn back to the tv. I changed the channel to the news.

(Somewhere else on Earth)
Two men dressed in full armor were walking quickly down a hallway. They finally got to a door and opened it to find a meeting. They all turned at the two men.

"What the hell do you want soldiers? Can't you see we are in a meeting?" A man said.

"Yes Captain but, we found the princess" one of the soldiers said. The captain was in shock.

"Everyone's dismissed" the captain said following the two soldiers. They walked into a large room with people operating on computers. They walked up to the front of the room to look at a large screen.

"What do you got?" The captain said.

"We found the princess living with a guy" a girl said "and this guys name is Carmine Lopez, ex marine, he lives about 30 minutes from LA, currently is engaged to a Rebecca Mathers, currently lives with his dog and is a video game designer and writer".

"You found his location?" The captain said.

"Yes sir marking his location now" she said.

"Good get me Alpha Team-4. We need the princess alive, safe, and back in hell" the captain said.

"What about the guy?" One of the soldiers said. "Kill him and his dog. He's seen way to much" The captain said.

"Yes sir we'll get them ready" the soldiers said.

(Carmine's POV)
I woke up to Charlie shaking my shoulder hesitantly. "Carmine!" Charlie said. "What?" I said mumbled. "Look the portal is open!" She said pulling me out of bed and to the window. I looked and saw a bright red light in the forest. "Holy shit" I said. "Come on!" She said. I put my pants and jacket on. Me, Charlie, and Shlonky walked outside and towards the forest. On our way there I looked towards Charlie to find a big smile on her face. I was happy to see her happy but I was feeling a bit down. Could I have already got used to her being here? I wanted this whole nightmare to end yes but at the same time, I didn't. When we got there I saw what appeared to be a red circle and on the other side was a city. "Well shit" I said. "Yeah" Charlie said. "I uh, hey um, I-I just wanted to say thank you for uh helping me and letting me stay at your home" she said rubbing her arm. "Uh yeah no problem it's the least I could've done saying that you helped me with my wound and shit, thank you for that by the way" I said. "Uh don't worry about it. Uh I uh... just thank you. That's all I have to say is thank you. Not that much people are nice to me" she said. "Well it's hell what do you expect?" I said making her chuckle. "Well yeah that makes sense" she said. She slowly gave me a kiss on my cheek making me blush. "Thank you for everything Carmine" she said.
Uh yeah yeah no problem" I said chuckling. Our eyes interlocked with each other's and stared at each other for a while. That was until I was tackled to the ground and saw a girl with gray skin, white hair, and a X over her hair holding a spear to my face. "Who the hell are you and what are you doing with Charlie!" The girl said. "Vaggie?!?" Charlie exclaimed. "I think he likes Charlie if you ask me" a white spider looking demon with boots said. I couldn't tell if it was a guy or girl...or both. "WHAT NO!" Me and Charlie exclaimed. "What are you doing here Charlie?" Vaggie said. "I just came here to blow off some steam" Charlie said. "More like to blow off this guy" the spider said. "ANGEL!" Vaggie and Charlie both yelled. "What?" Angel said. "Come on it's pretty obvious she's getting some from this guy!" Angel said. "I'm actually engaged to someone else!" I said. "And NO we are not doing any of that...SHIT!" I said slighty blushing. "Yeah yeah whatever" Angel said fixing his hair. "Look Vaggie I came here to calm down but then the portal shut down and I couldn't get back. Luckily Carmine here let me stay at his house until the portal opened back up and well here we are" she said. Vaggie turned back at me and lowered the spear. "Sorry" she said getting off me. "Uhh...it's ok" I said in a high pitched voice. I got up and turned around to see Shlonky sitting there just staring at me. "Yeah thanks for all the help pal!" I said making Shlonky tilt his head. "Charlie you can't just wonder into earth like that unless you know your way around, look just don't do this without telling me ok?" Vaggie said. "Yeah ok...I'm sorry" she said. "Come on let's get back to the hotel" Vaggie said. "Uh how are we gonna do that exactly?" Angel said pointing towards where the portal was which wasn't there any more. "Oh fuck" I said. "What?!?" Vaggie yelled. "It was just there!!!". "Well it isn't there anymore sweetie" Angel said. "Um well shit this is bad" I said. "Yeah you think?" Angel said. "What do we do now?" Charlie said. "Well I guess we wait until it opens back up. And in the meantime I guess I have no choice but...to let you stay at my house" I sighed. "Isn't somewhere else we can stay like a hotel or something?" Vaggie said. "Uh yeah that's not really a good idea" I said. "Why is that?" Vaggie said. "Well let's just say people around here really like shooting things they don't know or come in close contact with so yeah" I said. "I don't mind" Angel said. "Yeah of course you don't" Vaggie said. "Well this is going to be quite a story" I said.
