A Hellish Situation

Chapter 11: And It All Came Crashing Down

(Carmines POV)
I slowly opened my eyes to see I'm still in the car I "borrowed", but I'm upside down. Did I crash? Fuck me I did. I then felt wetness slowly dripping from my forehead. I felt it and looked at my hand to see blood. The only thing I was focused on was getting out of this car. I unbuckled my seat belt as I fell to the ground. I budged open the car door and crawled out. I stood up to see people running to the scene. I then felt dizzy and almost fell but caught my self. I looked around and saw a guy with a vest on dead on the ground about 8 feet from the car I crashed into, or crashed into me. The guy obviously flew out the windshield. "...holy fuck" I said trembling. A fire truck then came and the firefighters went to the scene. Another guy came out the car that crashed into me with a large piece of glass lodged in his throat making blood gush out of him. He then saw me and then pulled out a gun and started fucking shooting at me. Every one started screaming and running away. I ran and took cover behind the car. "What the fuck!" I said. The guy kept shooting and he was getting closer. Then all of sudden I saw my car drive past me at full speed and hit the guy. "OH MY GOD!!!" I yelled. My car screeched when it stopped. I ran over to the guy. He was dead on the ground with blood all over him. "Holy shit holy shit" I said grabbing my hair. He was dead. He was FUCKING DEAD! I mean I've seen dead people before since I was in the military but this isn't the military anymore! This outside of the military! This in my life! "Oh shit" I mumbled. Vaggie got out of the car with wide eyes. "Oh fuck" Vaggie said. "...Vaggie. What did you do?" I said still grabbing my hair. "Well I tried to save you but I didn't know it would be...this bad" Vaggie said. "Well what else did you think would happened?!?" I said. "Calm down hon your lucky your still alive" Angel said. "I...ughhh! I...oh my god. Oh fuck!" I said as I ran over to my car. "Oh shit!" I said as I saw the front of my car was dented and had blood all over it. I sat on the ground trying to comprehended what's happening. "Hey we should get outta here Carmine they'll be probably more of them coming." Vaggie said. "*sigh* get in the car." I said. We got in the car and I drove off. It was a few minutes in the drive and everyone was quiet except me which was rambling. "This can't be happening this can't fucking happening" I mumbled. "I knew this would fucking happen I just knew it god Carmine how can you be so stupid?" I was mumbling still. "Uh where are we going?" Angel said. "I'm going to my fiancé's house" I said. "If they are after us, then they are after everyone I'm in contact with" I said. We drove to my fiancé's which was a house in the suburbs. I pulled up to the house and turned off the car. "Stay!" I said as I got out the car. I walked up to the house and knocked on it but no answer. *Huh...her cars here so she's probably in the shower* I thought. I unlocked the door with my spare key. I walked in and looked around for her. I walked upstairs and opened her door. "Rebecca..." I said until I saw she was in the in the bed. With someone else. "Oh shit Carmine" Rebecca said as she stood up covering herself with the blanket. "Oh fuck" the dude said. I just stood there. I didn't know what to do. I just walked back downstairs. I walked outside and got back into my car. "What happened?" Charlie asked. "Wait Carmine!" Rebecca yelled out for me. I drove off. "Oh shit" Angel chuckled. "Damn". "...Carmine I'm-." "I don't want any talking for the remainder of the trip" I said cutting off Charlie. There was no more talking for the drive. I couldn't believe what was happening. First, a demons come to my house. Second, I most likely lost my job. Third, a guy died. And fourth, my fiancés cheating on me. Why is this happening? More importantly why is this happening to me? There has to be a reason. There just has to be. But for now, I have to keep these guys safe. Especially Charlie. I don't why, but it seems like the most reasonable thing to do right now. But thing is...the guy was shooting at me. So...are they trying to kill me and trying to take Charlie? If that's true I still have to keep Charlie safe. I think Charlie is the only thing keeping me almost sane right now. I couldn't bare to see her being taken away. I just can't. Anyway next stop, home. We took about the same 30 minutes to home. We finally got there and we got out the car. I then felt that something was off. I then saw that my door was open. "Guys, stay behind me" I said. I got a wrench from the tool box that was by my shed. I slowly walked in the house. "You gotta be kidding me" I said as I saw that my ceiling was filled with bullet holes. "What was the point of that?" Angel said. "Well it's not that bad." Charlie said. A small part of the ceiling then fell off. "Never mind" Charlie said. I then saw Shlonky sitting on the couch. He ran up to me. "Shlonky! Hey boy! You ok?" I said as he barked at me. "Uh we have a problem" Angel said. I looked outside as I saw a car pull up. "Fuck get inside" I said as we got inside. "Ok Charlie hide in here and you guys too" I said as I pushed into a closet. "What no! Carmine we are coming with you" Charlie said. "I'd rather stay in here" Angel said. "Carmine I'm gonna help you." Vaggie said. "No your not I got this. Whatever you hear don't fucking come out" I said as I shut the door. I got the wrench and hid behind the counter. 4 guys slowly came in pointing their guns. 3 went into the other room and 1 was heading in my direction. I ran to the other side of the counter tripping over myself making the soldier hear me. "You know I saw you right?" The soldier said. "...uh. No?" I said. "Just stand up" the soldier said. I slowly stood with my hands in the air. "Drop the wrench" the soldier said pointing the gun at me. "Ok ok just calm down" I said dropping the wrench making it fall on my foot. "OW!" I said hold up my foot balancing on one. "You idiot why did you drop it on your foot?" The soldier said. "You said to drop it!" I said. "Well you couldn't have thrown over there or something?" The soldier said. "I was panicking" I said grunting. "Well you know I have to kill you right? It's not personal. It's just you know, business" The soldier said. "Wait. Why are trying to kill me?" I said. "I don't know I'm just a soldier they don't tell me anything" the soldier said. I had to think of something fast. "Damn that bitch got ass" I said looking over him. "Where?" The soldier said as I picked the wrench then threw it at his head which didn't do anything cuz of his helmet. "Ow what the fuck!" The soldier said. I then ran over to him and tackled him. We both stood up and started to fight over the rifle. I pulled the gun in the air making the soldier shoot the ceiling multiple times. I pushed him into the living room making us fall onto the coffee table breaking it. We were on the ground  fighting until one of the 2 soldiers ran in and I shot them both rapidly. "Oh shit you fucking killed them you fucking maniac" the soldier said. "Me the maniac? Your the one trying to kill me!" I yelled. "Oh yeah" the soldier said. He elbowed me and got on top of me. He was trying to put the rifle in my direction. I struggled to keep the gun away from my face saying the guy was hella strong. He almost put the gun in my face until a sphere lodged into his neck making blood splatter on my face. The soldier fell beside me. Behind him was Vaggie with a sphere in her hand. "Oh shit" I said. "Thanks" I said. "Don't worry about it" Vaggie said. "Carmine are you ok?" Charlie said running to me. "Yeah I'm fine" I said as I wiped the blood off my face. "Ew" I said. "Hey freeze!"  Another soldier said who walked into the room pointing his gun at us. Shlonky then ran behind the soldier and bit his arm making the soldier fall to the ground. "Boy heel!" I yelled as Shlonky stopped. I walked over to the soldier and pointed the rifle at him. "Who are you and who do you work for?" I said. "Ok ok calm down man! I work for RAVEN!" The soldier said. "What's Raven?" Vaggie said. "We are a military that involves with satanic issues...so Hell" the soldier said. "What do you guys want?" I said. "We want the princess" the soldier said. "Why!" I said. "To bring her back to hell safely" the soldier said. "Then why are you trying to kill me?" I said. "You've seen too much we can't trust you'll tell someone else" the soldier said. I then knocked the soldier out with the gun. "Come on let's get outta here" I said as we all ran to the car. We got in the car and I started it and drove off. I got on the freeway. "Where are we going now hot stuff?" Angel said. "Going back to the city" I said. It was another 30 minutes and we finally got to the city and it was already dark. The only place I could think of was the beach. I drove to the beach and stopped at the parking lot. We got out and I walked to the beach. I walked onto the sand and stood by the water "..FUCKKKK!" I yelled. I then threw my phone out in the water. I then sat down on the sand. I didn't know what to do. So. I cried. I fucking cried. That's all I thought of doing right now. Was to cry. I lost almost everything today. What else am I supposed to do. (Third person POV) Vaggie, Angel, Shlonky, and Charlie were standing by the car looking out at Carmine who was sitting on the sand, crying. *I genuinely feel bad for him* Charlie thought. *He just lost mostly everything today. His job, his fiancée, and his house. If that happened to me I'd most likely do the same.* "Jeez what a cry baby" Angel said. Vaggie then hit him in the arm. "Ow!" Angel said. "I'll be back" Charlie said. (Carmines POV) Charlie walked over to me and sat down next to me. "Hey. Are you ok?" Charlie said softly. "*sniff* does it look like I am?" I said. There was a awkward silence between us. "I just...wanted say thank you" Charlie said. "...for what?" I said. "For keeping me safe" Charlie said. "I'm actually keeping you in danger. You should go with them" I said. "No." Charlie said. "Why?" I said. "Because if they're going to kill you, they are gonna have to kill me too." Charlie said. "Your my friend Carmine. I actually think I can call you my best friend now. Cuz nothing makes a good friend than someone who protects you. So yeah thank you Carmine, for saving me and I'm not gonna leave you." Charlie said. Then as always all of a sudden she hugged me deeply. Except this hug was different. She didn't let go. She hugged me as tight as she could. I didn't know how to respond so I just hugged her back. To be honest I love it when she hugs me. Her hugs just...feel so good. I know that sounds weird but if you were hugged by her...you'd probably feel the same way. Unless, I feel this way for a reason. She finally let go of me and looked at me with a smile. "And hey. Fuck that Rebecca bitch. She doesn't deserve you." She said making me chuckle. "Thanks Charlie. And hey, I'll always protect you. I'll won't let anyone take you, you hear me?" I said. "Thanks" she said. "Alright we should go." I said. "Where are we gonna go?" She asked. "I know a place" I said. (4 minutes later) The door opened and behind the door was John. He had wide eyes as he looked at us me especially since I had cuts on my face and blood on my shirt. "What the fuck happened to you?" John said. "Pfft it's a long ass story" I said.
