Chapter 15: A New Bad Encounter

(Carmine's POV)
I was driving on the highway going back to the pier. Charlie was cleaning the cuts on my face. "Ow" I said. "Oh sorry" Charlie said. She then cleaned it softer with the rag. I looked at her and she looked at me as well. I then smiled at her and she smiled back. "So anyway, thanks for coming back guys." I said. "Hey don't worry about Charlie was the one who talked me into it." Vaggie said. "Hey I was too" Angel said. "Well...yeah and Angel" Vaggie said. Shlonky then barked. "And so did Shlonky" Vaggie chuckled. "Well still thank you." I said. "Alright we're here." I said. I pulled up to the pier and we got outta of the car. I then opened the trunk and got the lamb blood out. We then ran to the store. We entered and saw Ace. "Aye you got em...oh shit you look like shit." Ace said. "Well that's the outcome of people trying to kill ya" I said. "Alright follow me" Ace said. We followed him to the back room. "Alright let me see the blood." Ace said. I opened the lid and Ace got a brush and dipped it in. He then started to paint a satanic symbol on the floor. He then set the candles on each side of the pentagram. "Alright give me the pearls" Ace said. I gave him the pearls and he set them in a circle in the middle of the pentagram. Next thing you know the candles lit up and the pearls turned bright red. Then a portal opened up in the air. "Holy fuck" I said. "There you have it" Ace said. "Oh thank you thank you thank you!!!" Charlie said hugging Ace. "Hey don't worry about it." Ace said. "Carmine we did it we did it!" Charlie said running up to me hugging me. "Your right we did. We fucking did it." I said. "Vaggie do you see this?" Charlie said. "Yeah I see it alright" Vaggie said. "Well I'm going back home ima start a turf war or something" Angel said. "See ya hun" Angel said. "So long fag." I said as Angel walked into the portal. "Well I guess this is it" I said. "Well, not exactly yet" Charlie said. "What do you mean?" I said. "I'm not going." Charlie said. "What do you mean your not going?" Vaggie said. "I mean I'm not going Vag" Charlie said. "I'm not going to leave Carmine here just to be killed." She said. "Look Charlie I appreciate your generosity, but I can take care of my self." I said. "Look, Charlie..." I said holding her hands. "This is your only chance to get the fuck outta here. I know your worried about me but don't be. I'll be fine and I'm not gonna let you be in danger, not anymore. You gotta go Charlie" I said. "Yeah you really need to go" Ace said. "Why's that." I said. "We got trouble." Ace said. I walked over to him and looked at the surveillance camera and saw a group of soldiers moving our way. "Fuck Charlie." I said grabbing her shoulders. "You gotta go." I said. She stared at me for a second. "You be safe" Charlie said. "Come on Charlie" Vaggie said. Charlie followed Vaggie to the portal. But before she got in she pushed Vaggie in the portal and smashed one of the candles. "CHARLIE NO!" We all said until the portal shut down. "I'm not leaving you here Carmine." Charlie said. "Goddammit Charlie" I said. " *sigh* Whatever lets get outta here." I said. "Here you guys go out the back." Ace said. "What about you?" I said. "I'll hold them off." Ace said. "It was nice knowing you Ace." I said. "You too." Ace said. We went out the back and ran to the car. We got in and I drove off. "You ok?" I said. "Yeah I'm fine." Charlie said. "You didn't need to do that." I said. "Yes I did I'm not gonna leave you here." Charlie said. I just sighed. "Where are we going?" Charlie said. "Away from here." I said. I got onto the freeway and immediately stopped a few minutes later. "What?" Charlie said. "It's my leg" I said. "What's wrong with it"  Charlie said. "I think that guy dislocated it." I said. "Are you gonna be ok?" Charlie said. "Yeah I'll be ok." I said. "Uh Carmine." Charlie said as I looked forward. I saw a person walking towards us.

"Well that's not good" I said. I then put the car back in drive. "What are you doing?" Charlie said. "I feel like I need to run this guy over" I said. Then a blade came out of the guys arm. "Yep" I said. I then drove to the guy at full speed but he then jumped on the car. "Oh shit." I said. I then immediately stopped the car making the guy fall off. I then drove off again. "I wish someone would please explain to me what the hell that was" I said. "Me too" Charlie said. "We need to stay away from that guy or he would do some serious damage" I said. "Where are we gonna go?" Charlie said. "...I don't know Charlie." I said. I drove around and it turned dark. "Hey" Charlie said. "Yeah?" I said. "Thank you." Charlie said. "You already know my answer." I said. "Yeah I know" Charlie quietly chuckled. "You wanna get something to eat?" I said. "Sure" Charlie said. I drove to a Taco Bell. I went into the drive through. "What is this place?" Charlie said. "Taco Bell" I said. "Why is it called Taco Bell?" Charlie said. "Uh I don't know. They sell tacos?" I said. "Huh" Charlie said. "Welcome to Taco Bell how can I help you today?" A girl in the speaker said. "Can you give me a moment?" I said. "Sure" the girl said. "The box speaks?" Charlie said. "No it's connected to headphones and a girl is speaking into it." I said. "Oh" Charlie said. "Ok get whatever you want on that menu" I said. "What's a dorito taco?" Charlie said. "Doritos are chips and they made the shell of the tacos out of Doritos." I said. "Ooh can I get a slushy?" Charlie said. "Sure" I said. "What is a 7 layer?" Charlie said. "It's a burrito with 7 layers of...something I don't know can you just get something?" I said. "What is a-" "You know what I'll just get you something" I said. "Hello ma'am I'll just get 4 tacos and a slushy." I said. "Ok will that be all?" The girl said. "Yeah" I said. "Ok your total will be 10 dollars" the girl said. I pulled up to the window and got our food. I drove off. "Here eat" I said handing her her stuff. Charlie then gulped down the slushy till no end. "Jesus. You really like those things huh?" I said. "Yeah that's the only thing in hell that I like to drink." She said. "Huh" I said. I then opened the bag and gave a taco to Shlonky. "Your lucky people are trying to kill us or you wouldn't be eating this crap." I said giving it to him. "Ok let's go somewhere discreet." I said. I drove to the Hollywood sign and stopped right next to it. Barley anyone goes there so it's pretty discreet. "Ok. I'm going to sleep" I said putting back the seat and turning over. "Oh well yeah me too." Charlie said. She did the same thing. Right when I was gonna fall asleep Charlie called my name. "Carmine?" She said. " *sigh* What?" I said. "Can I sleep with you?" Charlie said making me go wide eyed. "...what?" I said. "I was wondering if I can sleep with you...I'm kinda scared." She said. "Uh...sure? I guess whatever." I said. We moved to the back seat and Shlonky moved to the front. I laid down sideways and Charlie laid down sideways in front of me. We got then got comfortable. "Thank you." Charlie said quietly. "Don't worry about it just go to sleep." I said. "Ok but Carmine?" She said. "What?" I said. "Do you think we're gonna be ok?" Charlie said. "Hopefully." I said. "But I guess, just know I'm not gonna let anyone hurt you ok?" I said. "You will?" She said. "Of course. I think if anything happened to you I would die" I chuckled. Right when I said that Charlie turned around making us face to face and did the unspeakable.

She kissed me.

She fucking kissed me. We stayed like that for a few seconds until she pulled away. "Oh my dad I'm so sorry I didn't mean-" She said until I pulled her back in for a kiss. We then started making out for real this time. I don't know what got into me. I guess I got to lustful or something. But I then knew that Charlie had feelings for me this whole time. But the real question is, do I have the same feelings as well?
