Chapter 20: The End Of The Madness

The truth is, when I was in the war, right after the car crashed, we never went to the village, we were kidnapped by ISIS. We were held captive for 20 days. No food, no water, no hope. We barley hanged on. Our lives were in danger. There was a kid there. And his name was Charlie. He was as scared as I was. I nothing else to but protect him. I gave him any food or water I could get. Then a week later, he was killed. That's when we were found. I failed him. I didn't protect him like I said I would. After I promised to myself I won't make that mistake again. I remember now. And I wasn't gonna give up on her. At all.

(Carmine's POV)
I slowly opened my eyes and felt an ache in my chest. Of course I did since I got shot 3 times. I was losing blood. A lot of blood. How was I still alive? I sat up and saw X4 right next to me severely damaged. "I guess you broke my fall" I said. He then got up. "You motherfucker" He said as he kicked me. "Your done you fuck." He said picking me up. "..Hehe...I could same about you...you fuck." I said holding up a pin. He then looked down and saw a pin missing from one of his grenades. "Fuck you!" I said pushing my self off of him. I then ran behind a car. "No no no no no! Get it off! Fuck!" He said right before he explode making blood and body parts splatter everywhere. I then stood up and leaned against the car. "Fuck..." I groaned. I then heard a specific voice. "Carmine!" Charlie said. I looked to see Charlie run up to me. "Carmine your ok!" Charlie said hugging me. "You actually spoke to soon" I said passing out. "Carmine!" Charlie's voice said fading away.

A few hours later...

I slowly opened my eyes to see a white ceiling and I was laying on a...bed? I sat up and looked around. I was in a hospital. I groaned from the pain that was still in my chest from getting shot. But one thing then stood out in the room. These people in suits standing in front of my bed. "May I ask?" I said. "Hi Mr. Lopez, I'm Agent Abrams I'm with the FBI." Agent Abrams said. "Uh oh." I said. "Your not in trouble." He said. "...oh." I said. "But I have one question and you probably know the answer, what have you seen?" He said. "*sigh* ...nothing I don't remember." I said. "Good." He said. "Men" He said as they all walked out. "See ya" I said waving them off. Then a specific person came in after. Charlie. She ran to me and hugged me. "Carmine!" She said hugging me. "Ow ow careful please!" I said. "Oh hehe oops." She said. Shlonky then jumped on the bed. "Hey boy! It's good to see ya again my boy." I said petting him.  "Are you ok?" Vaggie said. "Yeah. Thanks for...you know" I said. "Well I didn't expect you to tackle him off the building but your welcome." Vaggie said. "Yeah what the fuck is wrong with you." Angel Dust said walking in with Vaggie. "Sup." I said . "Oh yeah, sup." Angel said. "It was quite entertaining if I do say so myself" I suspicious radioish voice said. A tall deer demon, with a red suit, and a wide menacing smile said walking in. "Who are you?" I said. "Carmine this is...Alastor." Charlie said. "The reason we got stuck in this mess." Vaggie said. "Wait so your saying this piece of shit is the reason this all happened." I said. "I'm afraid it is young man and I deeply apologize." Alastor said. "APOLOGIZE?!?" I yelled. The 3 then looked back at me to waiting for me to start complaining. "...I accept your apology." I said. "HUH?" Angel, Vaggie, and Charlie said. "Why do you accept his apology?" Vaggie said. "I'll tell you later." I said. "Now what?" I said. "Well the portals opening just fine now so I think it's time Charlie and us leave." Alastor said. "Well allow me to escort you." I said
