I was driving to get away from X4 and drove into a parking garage. I drove up to the top floor and stopped and got out the car. "Alright Grey should be any second." I said. Charlie then held my hands. "Carmine you came back. Why?" Charlie said. "As I said I'll die for you. Your the only thing that matters to me right now." I said. "Charlie, I fucking lo-"

*GUNSHOT*

I then felt a ache in my chest. I then looked down and saw blood expanding on my shirt. I then lost my balance and fell. "Carmine!" Charlie yelled. I looked behind me and saw X4 pointing a gun at me. "Ow that fucking hurts" I grunted. Another car then pulled up. Two soldiers and the captain then came out. "Can I ask you something? Like a serious question?" The captain said. "No" I said. "Well ima ask you anyway." The captain said. I then sighed. "Why are you protecting her? All of this ruckus, for her. I mean you lost everything for her. Like wha- oh. Oh. Haha you fucking fell in love with her now it makes sense. You idiot." The captain said. I then looked away. Charlie then looked at me. "How exactly did you think that was gonna
work out?" The captain said. "I thought it was gonna work eventually" I groaned. "Hehe...I like you. You remind me a lot of my wife" The captain said. "...That's fucking weird." I said. "No it's not" the captain said. "It really is" Charlie said. "No it's not." The captain said. "It's pretty weird sir." One of the soldiers said. "Whatever! Men, kindly take Miss Charlotte to the car, and X4 kill this guy." The captain said. "...Change of plans" X4 said. "What?" The captain said. X4 then shot the captain in the head and shot the other soldiers. "...Uh. Thanks pal." I said. "Don't thank me yet." X4 said pointing the gun at me. "You gotta be kidding me. What's your deal?" I said. "I'm killing you both." X4 said. I then looked at Charlie and put her behind me. "No your fucking not." I said. "Watch me." X4 said. Then all of a sudden a helicopter showed up. It was Grey. Then something stabbed X4 in the arm. It was Vaggie. "Vaggie!" Me and Charlie said. X4 then pushed Vaggie. When X4 wasn't looking I did the only thing that would kinda hurt him. "I love you Charlie." I said. I then ran towards X4 and X4 shot me two times. But I got up to him and tackled him.

Off the building.

"Carmine No!" Charlie yelled. Then it was all in slow motion to me. What I'm doing right. No matter what anyone says. My life basically flashed before my eyes. Everything. But the question still remains, why me. I was chosen to protect her? Was it actually love? I still don't know, because everything was still in slow motion. Wait. Love? Then that's when we fell to the ground.
