Chapter 17: Complications

This whole chapter is basically just arguing so...yeah

(Carmine's POV)

I quickly woke up and looked around to see Charlie sleeping on top of me with my dress shirt covering her. It was day outside already. "Hey. Charlie. Get up" I said making Charlie wake up slowly. "Hey" She said softly. I then sat up. "What's wrong?" She said getting up as well. "...I'm sorry." I said. "Heh um, sorry? Sorry for what?" She said. "For fucking making out with you. I should've have done that. It's just wrong." I said. "W-wait Carmine what do you mean-" "My lust got to me or something ok!?! Just fucking forget about it Charlie!" I yelled cutting her off. I then put my shirt back on and got in the drivers seat. Charlie just sat there for a moment. She then got into the passenger seat and Shlonky got in the back. I then drove off. The drive was silent. Charlie was just staring out the window trying to hide her face as much as possible. Either the fact she was crying or she was just embarrassed I really don't know. But at the same time I felt kinda bad for yelling at her. Well and making out with her. The reason I told her that my lust got to me was because it wasn't my lust. It was me. Because...you know. I uh. I think I'm in...love with her. But you see that's just wrong. I can't be in love with her she's a demon. I still didn't forget the fact she is one. It's wrong. I can't be with her I just can't. Anyway the drive was silent until I spoke up. "You hungry?" I said. She didn't say anything. "I'm sorry." I said. "...Are you? Are you really sorry Carmine? Cuz from what it looks like you are just the opposite of sorry." She said. "It was an accident ok?" I said. "Why? Why does it have to be an accident?" She said. "Because "we" can't be together! Ok?!? You. Are. A. Fucking. Demon. And I'm. A. Fucking. Human! You understand that? Human! H U M A N, Human! So just stop ok!" I said. "You know what fuck you Carmine! Fuck you! You obviously like me saying, "oh if anything happened to you I'd die", "oh I wouldn't mind being with you" like what the hell you think I wouldn't notice?" She said. "Heh I have no idea you what you talking about. You know the sad thing about is though? You just wanna think that I like you because in reality, no one would ever want to be with you because you are so fucking annoying!" I said. "If I'm so fucking annoying why don't you just fucking leave me!" She said making me stop the car. "You know what your right, get out." I said making Charlie go silent. "But-" "I said get out the fucking car!" I said cutting her off. "This. All of this, is your fucking fault. If you would've stop bitching and complaining about your little hotel that's most likely isn't gonna work, you wouldn't have walked into that portal, and we wouldn't be in this fucking mess!!! I lost everything. My job, my house, my car, my fucking girl, my fucking...sanity...Fuck!" I yelled. I then started to cry. I basically had nothing else to do. "*sniff* If you wanna leave then fucking go for it, I'm not stopping you." I said. The door then opened and closed. I looked to see Charlie outside staring down at the ground. I waited for a minute and me and Shlonky got out. I walked over to her. "Look, I care about you Charlie. I'm not gonna let anything happen to you even if it kills me ok?" I said. Charlie wiped a tear and turned to me. "I lov-" I said until something grabbed me from behind and threw me into the car. "Carmine!" Charlie yelled. I looked up and the guy knocked me out.
