PERCY
I woke up to a consistent banging on my door and yelling, me being me, I attempt to drown out the voice of the evil monster called my friend.
"Perseus Jackson you better open this door right now!" Oh, he brought my whole name out. Nice....not!
"Percy, please! Just let us know you're alive! Percy, please. Hazel's on the verge of tears right now!" With that scene being pictured in my mind, I shot my head up and ran silently to the door and hissed in pain when the sunlight hit my eyes.
"Oh, thank the gods," Frank breathed out.
I look behind him to see Hazel on the floor with her head in her hands. I sit next to her and put a hand on her back.
"Hazel?" I ask softly.
She slowly looks up and when her eyes meet mine she wraps me in a hug.
"I was so scared. I didn't know what happened and I thought you were just sleeping, but you missed breakfast and all the camp activities and it's lunch now and I was so scared." She sobbed. "I thought you left us, Percy."
I wrapped my arms around her. "It's alright, Hazel. I'm right here and I haven't done anything. And I promise I'm not suicidal," I try to reassure her.
"But it could always change, Percy. I don't want it to change."
"It won't change. Ever. I won't do it even if I really wanted to. Something big has to happen for me to want to do that again." I comforted her. "I'm not going anywhere."
"When was the last time?" She pulled away and looked into my sea-green eyes.
A sigh escaped my lips before I could even stop it. "Yesterday, before you got to my house. Only a few." I say, looking down.
"Percy.."
"I know. You want me to stop. But Hazel I can't. It makes me feel better and I don't like telling you this because you start feeling bad and you begin thinking of ways to make me stop but Hazel, I'm sorry." She nods her head sadly in understanding.
"Now lets go. You must be hungry." She lets out a small smile and I help her up and the three of us walk to the pavilion.
When we got there they were sitting at the Hades table and they looked up when we approached.
"It's alive!" Leo says.
"I'm no 'it' you asshole."
He rolls his eyes. "Could've fooled me," he mumbled.
"I heard that." I glared at him and he gave me an innocent smile in return, so I gave him the finger.
I sat down and the others looked at me expectantly. I sighed and the nymphs gave me some food. I slowly began eating but only ended up eating a fourth of the food.
"I'm full. That's all I'm eating," I said as I pushed it away. Calypso looked at the plate and looked back at me.
"You sure?"
I nodded. "Hundred percent."
She nods her head slowly.
*********
"Okay, so do you want to check out the arena?"
"Yeah, sure." I say as I followed the pack around camp. Well until I heard a familiar voice I thought I would never hear again.
"Percy?" I froze when I heard it. The face that belongs to the voice immediately gets shoved into my mind. The voice that would always help me through all the dark times. The voice I haven't heard in two years.
