PERCY
Being a wolf was great. It felt like all the problems in the world just disappear and I could do anything. It always gives me a rush of energy that I have no clue what to do with.
Not that I could do anything right now anyway. I'm being a stalker, to put it in simple terms. Stalking a person who is angry with me is quite fun if I'm being honest. He's just stomping through the woods and kicking everything in his path. Fun.
He stops abruptly and looks around cautiously. I crouch down lower to the ground to avoid being spotted by the son of Hades.
"Would you come out already? I don't have time for this," he shouted and two figures walked into my line of sight. "You've really come at a bad time."
One of the figures laughs and I recognize him to be that Demeter kid. "I think we've come at a perfect time."
"It's dark," the other figure offers.
"No one's around."
"So no one will hear you scream," they finished.
"I wasn't talking about that," Nico told them. Only seconds later and the two figures speed towards Nico and they engage in an uneven fight.
When one of them pulled out a knife and was about to stab him in the back I pounced and knocked the figure to the ground. My growls could be heard as Nico hit the other guy in the head and he turned to see the one I knocked to the ground look at me in terror.
He stood up and scrambled away, bringing his friend with him. I looked at Nico who was looking at me curiously. I turned my head and ran back to the shadows so he could no longer see me. I see him sigh and continue with his walk even though it's past curfew.
A twig snapping behind me made me turn to see the cause. I tilted my head when I saw the blonde hair belonging to Will.
"Hey," he whispered. He kneeled down beside me and placed a hand on my head. I turn back in the direction of where Nico was heading and nudged Will in the leg, signaling for him to follow me.
Once we catch up to Nico again I push Will towards him, causing him to whirl around and tense up. He relaxes when he sees Will but frowns when Will glares behind him at me.
"What are you doing?" Nico asked.
"Being pushed around, that's what," Will grumbles and pats his leg for me to come over. I growl at him because he knows I hate that but I don't move. "Alright, come on. You've got to face your fears at some point," he tells me.
I put my head down and slowly walk out of the shadows so they can actually see me. Nico's eyes widen slightly. "It's you again."
"Oh, so you already made your grand entrance? Couldn't even wait for me," Will says with a smile and pats my head.
"He's yours?" Will grinned at me and I glared back at him.
"Definitely," I growl at him and step away from the two boys.
"Okay, then. Does he have a name?"
