So, as you know, this is one of my favourite ships. But is it high quality? 

No.

First up, China gets scared of Russia. It's just sad, putting them up as best friends in fanfics. Also, Russia is not a really good friend to many countries. Though, it has been shown that China still respects Russia. A lot. There was this one comic where Lithuania dreamt about it.

Also, irl relations: They have one of the best geopolitical relationships, but not always. (Seriously why does the cold war have to ruin everything?)

Problematic?: Since it's a China ship, I can't comment on this one. (Cause duh)

Fandom-wise tho, pretty meh. Most of the shippers either ship USUK or Ameripan, or might also be Black Triangle stans. (Or RoChuAme if you didn't get it.) No big deal, me loves this ship, but I don't see really good fanfics or quality fanart or ask blogs. And most Russia RP accs I know ship Rusame, so that's sad.

((RoChuAme makes no sense though. Now, RoChuInd would be the more accurate one. (Just suggestions))

Just don't always make America the bad guy in your works,and you're good to go. And don't write abusive relationships in the fic. That's what Nichu stans are supposed to do. (Or RusLiet. Or Germancest)

If you want a better name for the ship, call it Yao(i) (the I stands for Ivan btw)
