"That was amazing..." Gidget mumbled. She and Max were sitting on a rock while Snowball laid down behind them. They were watching the stars. Both of them felt relaxed and peaceful. Rubbing his shoulder, Max quietly nodded his head in agreement. Looking over at him, Gidget pointed out, "Hey look, I'm sorry about earlier, it's just... I've been trying so hard to impress my dad ever since I was little."
"Yeah, you and me both. My dad currently believes that I'm the Dragon Master!" Max replied. Chuckling softly, Gidget murmured, "At least he loves you. My father wants me to be brave. But I'm not." She hung her head quietly at that. Surprised, Max mumbled, "I think you're the bravest person I know of." Gidget blushed.
Silence.
"So, what are you gonna do? Your final exam is tomorrow and you're gonna have to kill that dragon!" Gidget reminded Max. He sighed heavily as he remembered that. He had no idea what he was going to do. Before he could answer though, he noticed that Snowball was acting strange. At the same time, a large flock of various dragon species flew overhead. Startled, Gidget asked, "Where are they going?"
"I don't know," Max responded, "But I'm gonna find out."
