"Nope! Not yet!" Duke announced, coming over. His Tabikat Chloe followed him. Still struggling to get over his initial shock, Max was startled when his dad Rooster came up behind him and said, "Surprised? We have you to thank for this." By now, the rest of the village had noticed that Max was awake and were crowding around. Looking around, Max could see the smiles on their faces. He did all of this? That was hard to believe.
"Max!" Gidget cried, racing over. Turning around, Max smiled when he saw her coming. The moment turned awkward though once the pair were near each other. All eyes were on them. Gidget smiled nervously while Max rubbed the back of his head. Awkward silence. Rolling his light brown eyes, Gidget's Halcon came up behind her and pushed her towards Max with his fanned tail. Startled at first, she kissed him in front of everyone. After a second, they pulled apart. Finding his tongue, Max murmured, "That was awesome..."
"Yeah..." Gidget replied dreamily. Realizing what happened, her face turned red as she whirled around and shouted, "Tiberius!" The Halcon pretended to look shocked before walking away. Gidget followed her dragon out of the crowd just as Pops arrived carrying a red colored prosthetic tail fin. Giving it to Max, the elderly Viking declared, "Welcome home."
"Rabbu! Get down!" someone shouted. Turning around, Max saw Snowball rushing over. Looks like somebody was eager to try out the new tail. Setting it up, Max climbed onto the saddle. Next to him, Duke got up on Chloe. A challenge in his eyes, the older brother declared, "Last one to the docks is a rotten egg!" Without warning, he took to the air. Grinning, Max and Snowball chased after him, followed by their friends and their dragons.
Nothing will ever be the same after this day.

Holy crap when was the last time I finished a story. Hey guys, I'm back at it. I just got hit with inspiration after watching How to Train Your Dragon a few days ago. Since I have FINALLY finished this story after a year, I might actually be able to work on something related to this. No, I'm not writing a crossover with the movie sequels since I don't know how I'm gonna pull that off. I'm talking more about the shows. Loved watching those. I might also do a short story for the special Gift of the Night Fury. I don't know. Let me know what you think. In the meantime, I'm gonna get the series of short stories ready for this. It'll either be out today or tomorrow. Depends on timing. I got plenty of time since I'm stuck in FREAKIN QUARANTINE! This sucks!
