These words will never leave this page,
they will never be spoken aloud...
Within her mind are ideas and thoughts new to the world and full of life.
But they remain behind a silent girl.
They beg her to let them be free,
to express her dark brilliance and to show the world all that she is.
But still, her tight lipped ways remain unchanged...
she is a prisoner, to society and to her fears.
"what will they say?" she asks herself...in silence of course.
But with all her intelligence, her mind returns no answer.
She knows what can be done to those outspoken few....
Condemnation for their enlightening ideas and gifts to the world
and she does not wish to share the same fate.
And so she lives a life of quiet desperation.
She does not free her ideas and thoughts or show the world all that she is
and she keeps her dark brilliance, as well as herself, hidden.
In the end, when is too late to speak,
she realizes she had so much to offer the world
if only she had found the words.
That maybe a life of condemnation, yet full of beautiful chaotic noise,
was better than a life of silence.
