The Fire Prince (Zuko x Male OC)

A few weeks past and the Gaang was still on the Fire Nation ship. They've seen a couple of other Fire Nation ships past by them every now and then, but they didn't bother them.

Aang still hasn't woken up, in fact he's been out for so long that he grew hair. Toph, an earthbender, has been practicing and became an expert at metalbending, which she invented herself. Sokka has been discussing the invasion plan with his father.

Kaito has been practicing how to use his waterbending for healing, with help from Katara. He's currently trying to heal a scrape on his leg.

"Good." Katara told him. "Now just focus."

Kaito closed his eyes and tried to focus on healing. And after a while he could start to feel it working.

Zuko looks at Kaito, then at Azula, then finally at Aang before throwing a fireball at him.

Focus...

Zuko throws two lances of fire at Kaito, but he extinguishes it.

Focus.

"You said you changed!" Kaito yelled angrily as he throws down a large tentacle of water on Zuko.

Focus!

Zuko blasts fire up at it extinguishing Kaito's water.

FOCUS!

"I have changed." Zuko told him.

"Ahhh!"

Kaito screamed in pain dropping the water he was using for healing. As he looked down at his leg he noticed a burn mark right where he just trying to heal himself.

"Are you ok?" Katara asked as she noticed the burn wound and began to heal him herself. "What was that?"

"I...I have no idea..." Kaito said confused about what just happened.

Suddenly they heard what sounded like a gust of wind. They knew exactly what it was and ran out of the room. They made it to the deck of the ship where they saw everyone, including Aang.

"Aang, you're awake!" Katara exclaimed.

"Are you sure?" Aang said rubbing his eyes. "I feel like I'm dreaming."

"You're not dreaming." Katara said as she hugs him. "You're finally awake."

"Aang, good to see you back with the living buddy." Sokka said, dressed in a full Fire Nation guard suit.

"Sokka?" Aang asked as his eyes begin to shut.

"Uh-oh, somebody catch him, he's going to..."

Toph couldn't even finish her sentence before Aang collapsed. Katara then quickly runs over to him as the rest surround him.

After a while Aang woke up again. He started asking all these questions about what happened while he was out. And everyone left Katara alone with him so she take him to get healed. Kaito was still trying to figure out how he burned himself. So he decided to turn to someone who knew something about different bending abilities.

"Toph, can I talk to you?" Kaito asked her.

"Whatcha need, water boy?" Toph asked.

"How did you discover you could metalbend?" He asked.

"Well, I was thrown into this metal cage by these two dunderheads. Then I could feel some particle of earth inside the metal and boom! Metalbending."
