November 15, 2017- Orlando, Florida
Jessica had purchase her plane ticket a week ago which was one day after she finished her out patient treatments, and she was leaving in less than four hours. She decided on another red eye which was an incredibly low price. She thought she had done a fantastic job at picking her flight, however what she didn't know was how awful the flight it self would be.
She was nervous to fly, not only was she afraid of heights but she was also kinda afraid of the dark, which was ironic because she booked a red eye. Jessica's mother wasn't making anything easier, she'd given her daughter lectures upon lectures about being safe, and staying with an adult at all times, which Jessica already knew wasn't going to happen ( although she would never tell her poor mother that.)
The brunette girl was grateful for her mom and her overbearing tendencies, it meant she cared and that was all she could ever want.
Jules on the other hand was psyched her sister was getting out of the house. She was worried for Jess's well being, especially after what has been happening for the past few months. Jules was so thankful for her sisters friendship with Billie, and she was glad Jessica could experience life, since she was at such a low point for such a long time.
"Okay, honey please be safe and careful. Listen to the flight attendants and as soon as you get off the plane I want you to call me!" Laura rambles on. "Yes mom I will, but I really have to go." As soon as the young girl said that, the last call to board her flight was called.
Jessica hugged her mother and Jules and told them to have a safe drive home, seeing as it was about 3 am. She also profusely thanked her mom for letting her visit her best friend, her mother told her that she deserved it.
California
The flight wasn't too bad, Jessica noted that there wasn't as much turbulence as she imagined. She was however jet lagged, she left Orlando at 3 am, her flight lasted a little over five hours, however it was only 5 am in California.
That's some crazy time travel shit, and Jessica was too tired to wrap her brain around it. She made her phone call to her mother who was already leaving for work, which made the girl's head spin even more.
The O'Connell's and Jessica decided together that the best way for her to get to their house was Finneas, who happily obliged. He said something about seeing Jessie before Billie which would make them better friends. It all boiled down to sibling rivalry which Jess knew all about.
Once the brunette got her bags she looked everywhere for Finn, finally spotting the redheaded boy she ran up to him (with more energy than she probably should have at 5 am) and hugged him so tight.
"Oh my god! Oh my god!" She repeated over and over again, still latched onto the boy. He lets out a string of curses once the petite girl reaches him, followed by genuine laughs. "Hi Jessie, I missed you too!" He says to her, finally untangling himself from her grasp.
"You have no idea how much I've missed you!" She says slightly out of breath, he nods his head and says "I think I have an idea. That was some hug." Jess smiles sheepishly, "Sorry about that." Finneas laughs, "Don't worry, I welcome all of your hugs."
