"Are you guys really making me sing tonight?" Jess asks, with a mix of fear and worry on her face. "The fuck you mean making?" Billie questions, looking at her girlfriend in confusion. "We're not making you do anything." Finneas adds, patting Jess on her shoulder.

Tonight was PayItForward Live, an event hosted by Verizon to support small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic. Tonight Billie and Finneas would be the entertainment and last minute a representative from Verizon asked if Jessica would be okay to perform her new single.

"I've just never done anything like this." Jess states wearily. "Babe, you've preformed at some of the biggest arenas in the country." Billie says, "Yeah but never my own shit." She says cutting Billie off. "And besides they don't wanna see me, they wanna see you." Jess continues, causing Billie to frown.

"That's not true. Why do you think you were asked to sing tonight?" Billie questions and Jess shrugs as her reply. "They fucking love you! You have fans now, people are excited to see what's coming with your career." Billie explains, causing Jessica's cheeks to flush.

"You'll do great, I'll be right there with you." Finneas chimes in, this makes Jess smile and tell the siblings how grateful she is for them. "We're grateful for you too Jessie. More than you know." Finneas says genuinely.

"What would you like to start off with?" Finneas asks Billie, who is putting her headphones on. "I, believe it says all the good girls go to hell." She answers, pointing to the setlist on the coffee table.

"You heard it, here first." Finneas says, causing a small laugh from Billie. "Jessie," Billie says in her baby voice. "Yeah?" She asks from her spot off camera. "Time to sing, get your ass over here." Billie commands, covering her mouth after realizing she said a swear word.

Jess stalks over to the couch, plopping down next to her girlfriend. "This is our friend Jess Williams, who will also be singing a song for you." Finneas says, introducing the girl to the camera.

"You could've introduced her as my girlfriend." Billie says jokingly. "Oh I forgot people knew about that now." Finneas states causing everyone in the room to laugh.

"Let's get on with it shall we?" Jess says, trying to get them to move along. Finneas strums his guitar and Billie clears her throat. "Now as much as people wanna believe this is about me being a, a devil worshiper." Billie starts, causing Jess to laugh.

"And being satan, it's not about that." She explains, "if y'all remember, I wrote this song too and no one's calling me out for any of those things." Jess says, chiming into the conversation. "Yeah, it's about global warming and we wrote this song, like, three years ago. So." Billie continues her explanation with a laugh.

"From the perspective, of the Lord." Finneas adds, "no." Billie and Jess say in unison. "But, um." Billie says, trying to end the conversation. "Is it not?" Finneas asks, turning towards his sister. "I, we don't need to make a statement. Cause I don't need people coming for me, but." Billie answers, slightly stumbling over her words.

"I'm just saying the world's really important, this song is," Billie says, " under all the deeper meaning." Jess adds, causing Billie to nod. "This song is about global warming, and um, climate strike, and what's really important. How we are the reason that the world will end, and we're also the reason the world could, Mom!" Billie says with a laugh, causing Jess to look over to Maggie.
