"You wanna go make out in the bathroom?" Billie asks Jess with a playful smile. Billie, Finneas, and Jessica were at the Microsoft Theater doing a sound check for the AMAs. The show was later that night and Jess was nervous. 

Billie wasn't that big of a help especially since the two girls hadn't seen each other in a little over and month and they hadn't gotten to spend quality time with each other since Jess arrived. 

The brunette had flown in that morning and was incredibly jet lagged, a five hour flight really takes a toll on you, especially with the time difference. Jessica didn't get to rest after her flight because they had rehearsal as soon as she got off the plane. 

"No Billie, I really don't. I just wanna get out of here and go to sleep before the show." Jess answers, slightly frustrated. She wasn't mad at Billie per say, she was just tired which led to her crankiness. 

"Ok, we have like forty five minutes left, then we'll leave." She promises, giving her girlfriend a warm smile. Billie wasn't sure what was going through Jess's head and it bothered her to no end. They didn't have much time to properly catch up in person, which left Billie feeling a bit out of the loop. 

"I'm gonna grab some water." Jess says walking off. Billie was presenting and she needed to rehearse, leaving Jess with nothing to do other than twiddle her thumbs and desperately try to stay awake. 

"I'll walk with you." Finneas says, lightly jogging to meet the girl. "Rehearsal went well, you sounded great." He complements, starting the conversation. 

"Thanks, I really like the set up." Jess says, her enthusiasm saying something completely different. "You don't seem to excited." Finneas notices, furrowing his eye brows.

"No I am." She disagrees. "I'm just tired. Last night was rough, then I had to be up so early for my flight." Jess says, "I'm just a bit burnt out." She continues, trying to reassure Finneas that she's okay. 

"I get it, we just have to get through this one show. Then we can do whatever the fuck we want." He says laughing, slinging one arm over the younger girl's shoulder. 

"I can't wait. I'm gonna take a fat nap." Jessica jokes, earning a grin from Finneas. 

"C'mon we gotta get back to the stage." He says causing Jess to audibly groan. "Yeah yeah." She huffs, dragging her feet all the way back to the stage. 

Later that night

"How can you look hot even when you're dressed like a boujee beekeeper?" Jess asks her girlfriend with a dumbfounded expression. "Like you look so good." She continues, going on and on about Billies appearance. 

"Jessie calm down." Finneas says from the opposite side of the car. They were on their way to the award show, all crammed in the back of an SUV. All meaning Maggie, Patrick, Billie, Jess, Claudia, and Finneas. Jessica was half on Billie's lap, half on the door (which wasn't a very pleasant position to be in). 

"You never answered my question." Jessica whispers discreetly in Billie's ear. "I think we should've taken our own fucking  car." Billie growls, placing a chaste kiss fo her girlfriends neck.
