After Billie's twentieth birthday, Christmas, and New Years rolled around, Jess and Billie decided they needed get serious about planning the wedding. It was hard trying to focus on everything especially since both girls were so busy with work. However if they wanted to have their wedding in March, they needed to get to it. Which is where they were now.

"I really hope this is the one." Billie says, her statement follows by a yawn. It was 7:45 and the girls were on their way to a venue in Pasadena and had to be there at eight. "Me too, the photos looked nice." Jess hums, agreeing with her fiancée.

They decided to tour a quaint wedding venue in Pasadena that ticked all of their boxes. It was outside, spacious but not too big, and they liked the food options. Hopefully everything looked the same as it did online.

However they left the venue feeling defeated. "What did you think?" Jess questions, once they get into the car. "It definitely didn't look like the pictures. How the hell can they do that? It was such a shitty place." Billie explains, shaking her head. "I'm glad we're on the same page. I didn't wanna be rude to the lady but, damn that place was awful." Jess says with a frustrated sigh.

This was the ninth or tenth place they looked at and alas, they hated it.

"I have a crazy idea." Billie turns to Jess, who urges her to explain. "What if we just did everything at our place?" She suggests with an excited glimmer in her eyes. Jessica ponders this, trying to think how this could work.

"That's the best idea you've had in a long time." Jess responds with a laugh. "I thinks it's perfect Bil." She adds, grabbing her fiancée's hand, giving it a squeeze.

"We could have caterers and we'll do it in the backyard." Billie says excitedly, "I can't fucking wait." She says making Jess smile. "So now where planning a home wedding, okay. We can work with that." Jess responds, as Billie pulls into their driveway.

Once they greet the dogs they decide to call Claudia to see if she can help them plan, to which she agreed making both girls very happy.

The next three weeks flew by and they were nearing the beginning of February which meant the wedding was in a little under sixty days. They were slightly panicked, Jessica still needed a dress while Billie was stressed about wether or not she should wear a suit.

Jess was one hundred percent on board with the suit idea Billie however wasn't so sure. It wasn't wearing a suit that bothered her, it was the fact that Billie was a procrastinator and this was something easy she could procrastinate over. But at the end of the day she decided on the suit.

"I'm going for my final fitting today, and you still have to get your sleeves hemmed." Jess reminds Billie as they eat breakfast. "Yeah I'm going this afternoon." Billie responds.

They were so close to the thing they've been longing for. When Billie proposed, she didn't expect for everything to go by so fast. The planning definitely felt rushed but it's going be worth it in the end. Especially when they get to spend the rest of their lives together.

"I know I say this about fifty times a day, but I'm so fucking excited to marry you." Billie says, grabbing Jess's hand. "I know I say this about fifty times a day, but I'm excited to marry you too." Jess responds, making Billie laugh.

They were so sickly sweet to each other and as much as they hated all of that sappy shit, Jess and Billie were absolutely smitten and they wouldn't change the way they acted towards one another. No matter how sick it made them.
