My boyfriend sighed as I taped up my last box, "I don't know what I'm going to do without you" he said, I sat on the bed next him, "I'm going to miss you so much, but we can get through this, I'll text or call you everyday"
We lay together for a while, making the best of the little time we had left, eventually falling asleep."KATIE" I hear my mum yell from downstairs, I woke up and looked at the time, 7.00am, we had 6 hours to pack up all our boxes and get to the airport. I woke up Josh, I'll never forget that sad expression on his face, he sat up, grabbed my waist, pulled me closer and kissed me, his cheeks were wet, I'd never seen him cry before, "you have to go" I whispered "my mum will kill me if she knows you spent the night. I'll stop by before I leave" he kissed me goodbye and climbed out my window.
I sat on the bed for a while, I just couldn't believe this was it, I had only a few hours left in the town and country I'd grown up in. I'd never been so angry at my parents, I can't believe they're making me leave my friends, the boy I'm in love with and the country I'd lived in my whole life.
"It's time" my mum said, I grabbed my bags and shoved past her, giving her a death stare and headed to the taxi. At least I get to see Josh one last time.
Suddenly the taxi sped past Josh's street, "WAIT!" I yelled, mum turned to me with a guilty look on her face "I'm sorry Katie, we don't have time for you to see Josh."
That was it. I was never going to forgive them. I yelled into my pillow until my throat started to hurt, I'm moving 15 thousand kilometres away and I couldn't even say goodbye to the boy I loved.
