Seoyoung's POV

After the final guests had left, it was just Taehyung, Jungkook, Jimin and I left on the patio of the fairytale gardens.

"C'mon, let's go to bed," Taehyung said, offering me his hand. I took it, and together, we walked to a black limousine that was waiting at the gates. He helped me, and my huge dress into the vehicle before seating himself on the other side. We sat in silence, me leaning against his chest in absolute exhaustion.

I think I fell asleep during the ride, for when I opened my eyes, we were in front of a gorgeous bungalow, surrounded by water. A bridge led to the double sliding doors. The bungalow itself was dark oak, with white accents. Almost all the walls were made of glass, a good chunk of the roof as well. When we got inside, a giant bed with white mesh drapes was in the middle of the room, a light warm breeze drifting about in the room from all the open windows. A tiny, tinkling, twisted chandelier hung in the middle of the room, but most of the light came from scented candles placed in elegant holders all around. A huge fireplace sat in the living room, full of black and gold furniture. A table had been set in the small kitchen. A triple candle holder (which smelt of lemon) was placed in the middle of two plates with steak, salad, fruits and potatoes.

"Well, since we actually didn't get to eat, I thought we could have a late-night dinner together," Taehyung said, gesturing to the romantic setting. I beamed, turning to Taehyung and gave him a kiss on the lips, which he didn't expect, but left a wide smile on his face.

"This is amazing. Thank you so much," I say.

"Anything for you. Let's go change before the food gets cold. Do you need help with your dress?" I think for a moment, eyeing him. Seeing my expression, he smiles lightly. "Just with your dress, nothing else, okay?" With his word, I agreed to his help and together, we headed to the walk-in closet. Once we had both changed into some comfortable clothes, we sat down at the table and dug into the delicious food.

"You know, I can't help but feel like we've met before. I feel such a strong connection with you, like I'd trust you with my life," I finally say. I'd had this feeling for a while really, but I never voiced it to anyone until now. It sounded ridiculous. How could someone trust a ruthless, violent gang lord? Taehyung slowly takes a sip from his wine, licking his lips and placing the glass down.

"Does 'Beauty' mean anything to you?" he suddenly says, staring straight into my eyes. Was now seriously the time to be complimenting me? Unless...

"Beasty..." I whisper, staring at him in awe. Subconsciously, I touched the red necklace dangling around my neck. "I-it's really you?" Taehyung nods, his hand slowly reaching under his shirt, pulling out a necklace identical to mine, except a small hole in the middle, where mine connected. "How could I not have recognized you?" He chuckles.

"People change."

"But- what happened? That day, where did you go? I never saw you again. I-I was so worried. Why-" Tears had appeared in my eyes as I wiped them away. That horrible day flashed in my memory again.

I had been in the library for the past three hours preparing for my presentation tomorrow. It was only when I exited that stuffy building did I check my phone. Multiple missed calls and messages from none other than Beasty, Kim Taehyung. Everyone called us that because they thought we were the perfect couple. Of course, they all knew Taehyung came from a dangerous family, that's why they portray our love like the fairytale. A beast that falls in love with a quiet, normal girl. Beauty and the Beast. Seeing how worried he was, I decided to give him a call.

As soon as he picked up, he started yelling, "Yah! Where the hell are you? Do you know how worried I was?!" Sighing, I kicked at the rocks while I walked back home.

"I was at the library," I explained, crossing the empty road.

"The library- Don't tell me you're outside right now?! Do you know what time it is?!" I heard shuffling, obvious that he was coming to find me.

"Tae- I'm fine. My house is just a few blocks away-"

"Share me your location. I'm coming to get you." Then he hung up. Smiling to myself, I shake my head. What did I ever do to deserves such a caring man? I kept walking but decided to stop, waiting for him by an empty coffee shop. I entertain myself with a game until I saw headlights in the distance. Ignoring it, seeing that it was a delivery truck, I decide to text Taehyung.

Beauty:
I'm in front of La Barista.

Beasty:
I'm nearly there.

Smiling, I patiently wait, distracting myself by checking my SNS. Suddenly, a shadow fell over me as I froze. Slowly, I raised my head to be faced with three men in black masks, all with a hat pulled low over their faces.

"Wha-" One of them surges forward, clamping a cloth over my mouth. I fought with all my might but eventually ran out of air, forcing me to breathe in the chemicals. The man let me gently on the ground as he turned to his buddies. Whatever that chemical was, it didn't knock me out. It just made my body turn to jelly. I couldn't move, but could still see and hear what they were doing. One of them picks me up and dumps me into the truck. "Please..." I manage to whisper weakly. Tears ran down my face, but I couldn't wipe them, I couldn't do anything. All of a sudden, a commotion could be heard outside. Surprised yells of pain as fists collided with bone. The door was ripped open, a man standing there quickly picks me up and places me in the back of a car, Taehyung's car. I recognized him as Taehyung's friend, Jimin. "Beasty..." I said, barely a whisper. Finally, Taehyung's silhouette could be seen as he came back, covered in blood and with his lip busted.

"Beauty, are you okay?" I couldn't reply as my mouth refused to move.

"I think they drugged her with something," Jimin said with his arms crossed.

Taehyung's eyes flashed with anger, saying, "You know what to do." Nodding, Jimin marched away, presumably to capture my abductors. Gently, Taehyung pats my hair, soothing me. "Don't worry Beauty, you're safe now. You're safe." And that's the last thing I heard from him, for the next day he disappeared. I never saw him again.
