Jennie groaned as Taehyung's name popped up on her phone for the seventh time that evening. She picked up, ready to kill.
"What's your problem?"
"Calm down, I'm just giving you a little human interaction so you can stop stuffing yourself with ice cream and staring at the TV. It's not healthy, you know?"
Jennie looked at the tub of milk ice cream on her lap and the movie playing on the large screen in front of her.
God, why does he know me so well?
"What do you want?" she grumbled, shoving more ice cream into her mouth.
"Is wanting to speak with my little Nini so bad?"
"One, I'm not yours, two, I'm not little, three, don't call me Nini, and four, yes it is, it means you have no life whatsoever."
Taehyung pouted and Jungkook's laugh was heard. Jennie sat up immediately.
"Am I on speaker?"
"It's only me, noona," Jungkook assured her. Jennie let out a sigh of relief.
"Please punch the idiot next to you for me," she requested sweetly.
"Don't worry, you'll be able to do that yourself soon enough."
"The show isn't till next week though," Jennie pouted.
"He wasn't talking about that, Nini," Tae chuckled before hanging up.
Huh??
The doorbell rang and Jennie's confusion immediately disappeared.
"Ahhh..shit."
She looked down at her appearance. She had on baggy sweatpants, an old t-shirt with a fading soy sauce stain (courtesy of Jisoo), and her hair was a wreck.
"Wait, do I care?" She stopped to think. "No."
With that, she got up and headed to the entrance, where Chaeyoung was already ushering the two boys in.
"LALISA, YOUR BOYFRIEND IS HERE!"
"TELL THAT JACKASS TO GO BACK HOME!"
Jungkook grinned, excused himself and walked towards Lisa's room.
"DON'T DO ANYTHING I WOULDN'T DO!" Jisoo screamed from her room, and everyone laughed.
Jungkook and Lisa had been flirting and bickering since day one, getting bolder day by day until everyone was making bets on who would be brave enough to make the next big move. Jennie knew Lisa was mature enough not to do anything stupid, but she still worried for their maknae.
"Well, if Chu expects them to sit around and eat chicken all day, she's going to be disappointed," Jennie murmured. Taehyung grinned at her.
"You have a smudge of ice cream on your cheek, Nini. Would you like me to kiss it off?"
Chaeyoung grabbed Taehyung's arm before Jennie could kill him and dragged him to the kitchen.
"I was just making some kimchi, you hungry?"
"Sure, let me help you," he offered kindly. Jennie glared at him.
"How come you're so nice to everyone else but always pick on me?"
"Jealous, Nini?" he smirked at her and she scoffed and walked away. Taehyung caught her hand before she could leave.
"Aww, I'm just playing, stay!" he whined, tugging on her hand. She snatched her hand away.
