Rosé took a deep breath as she prepared to step out into the street, praying with all her might that nothing bad would happen to either her group or Bangtan.

The long wait was over- she and her members had just gotten off the plane that had taken them from Korea to the Jeju. Only BLACKPINK had announced their arrival to the public because they didn't want large crowds of BLINKs and ARMYs involved in any fighting.

However, they weren't going to hide from the people- it was part of the show.  The two groups would walk from opposite ends of the airport, meet at the front, and mount the same vehicle, making sure the shocked crowd would see them. Then, they could start promotions of the show for a week while the two groups settled in the mansion to prepare for the filming.

The four girls stepped out, glamorous as ever, and stopped to feel the warm, salty ocean breeze on their faces. Jisoo adjusted her hat. A few cameras were already clicking around them, so they smiled and posed modestly for a while, waving cheerfully.

"We're supposed to meet them at that entrance," Jennie said while inspecting the map.

"Let's go!" Lisa exclaimed, leading the group and the steadily increasing number of fans and cameramen from the show behind them, following the girls in a loud crowd. Usually their manager picked them up the moment they stepped outside.

The girls spotted the seven boys waiting outside a large black car and walked up to them, bowing politely. The cries increased in volume and soon enough, some shouting was heard, along with screams of fangirls and fanboys. Both BLACKPINK's and BTS's managers took this as a signal to usher the two groups into the vehicle.

They waved and smiled at the crowd, nearly getting blinded by the flashes of the cameras, and hurried into the car.

"What a bunch of sluts!" A woman shouted loud enough to be heard above the crowd and Chaeyoung's smile faltered. Everyone watched in disappointment as more insults were hurled, mostly at the girls, and suddenly there was a whole brawl between a few angry fans. The security guards had to come out to separate them.

Chaeyoung sighed and looked down at her hands. This was only a taste of what was to come.

"I'm sorry," Jimin said next to her. She looked up at him.

"It's not your fault. Fans will be fans."

"It isn't fair that they always target the women though."

"A lot of things aren't fair," she gave him a small smile. "Sometimes, even if you don't want to go through something, you gotta do what you gotta do, and that's it."

Jimin didn't know what it was, but something in Chaeyoung's eyes looked off for a few seconds.

...

"We're here!" Lisa exclaimed in a too-bright voice. Everyone (including herself) cringed at her aegyo.

"Sorry," she scratched her head cutely. "It happens when I'm nervous."

"There's nothing to be nervous about," Hobi assured her kindly, and the two exchanged smiles. Jungkook cleared his throat and stepped between them to take a look at a map of the house hanging on the wall.

Everyone gathered around in awe of the vast resort. There were 11 individual rooms connected by doors for both the boys and the girls, each room with its own bathroom, four kitchens, three dining rooms, about five large living rooms, two huge media rooms, two dance studios, a well-equipped gym, and a music studio inside. Outside, there was a massive infinity pool with a gorgeous view of the white-sand beach and turquoise water.
