Jisoo's heart ached as they passed by the library where she had met Jin. She was overly sensitive about the matter these days. Whenever the routine got boring, and she was busy but her mind was not, all she did was think about Jin, missing everything about him, even his annoying habits.

She and Jennie had been giving songwriting a try lately, mostly composing slow ballads or random, short verses. However much she tried lying to herself, she knew all the words she wrote in her little notebook were about him, about their times together.

Apart from award shows, when they were free to blissfully ignore each other, they'd only seen each other once after their breakup. For a while, she'd refused going to Bangtan's dorm to hang out with Taehyung, in fear of seeing Jin again. But a few months ago, she had no other choice. Taehyung absolutely couldn't pick her up this time and they'd been planning to meet up for months due to their busy schedule. She couldn't let down a friend for her own selfish reasons.

She had rung the doorbell that one day and her worst nightmare came true- Jin opened the door. Jisoo saw the shock in his eyes, and they held each other's gaze for a few seconds, remembering. She was beginning to feel panic rising up in her chest when Taehyung unknowingly saved the day by appearing and inviting her in. Jin glanced at her one more time, bowed shortly, and left.

She often wondered if he was thinking about her, but always ended up mentally slapping herself. She would not let herself fall in the trap of believing he still cared for her.

It's over, she constantly reminded herself. It was over a long time ago.

She was currently in their car with her manager and her members, driving to YG headquarters. The four girls had been having an intense dance party in their dorm, lightsticks and wigs and all, when they were surprised by a call directly from their CEO, asking them to meet him for an important announcement. Needless to say, they were all nervous. Few meetings like these meant good news.

They arrived and got off the vehicle.

"Good luck, girls," their long-time manager called out.

"Thanks!" They waved at him and entered the building. They waited outside their boss's office for a few minutes until they were welcomed in by a secretary. Bowing deeply, they took their seats across his desk, awaiting the announcement.

...

YG finished talking and looked at them expectantly.

Lisa's mouth dropped open and she started sputtering incoherently. Rosé stared at him with wide eyes. Jennie looked like she wanted to punch someone. Jisoo blinked and frowned.

"Could you please repeat yourself, sajangnim?" The latter asked. The man cleared his throat.

"I said, I have made an agreement with Bang Si-Hyuk so you four girls and the boy band BTS can film a show together for 100 days."

Great, Jennie thought. 100 days of hell.

The girls exchanged anxious looks. They had started hanging out more and more with Bangtan ever since Jisoo and V had become friends. Now, most of them knew each other well and had become close friends, but neither of their bosses had any idea that they even talked to each other. Rosé cleared her throat.

"Um, sajangnim...do you really think this is-"

CEO Yang cut her off with a stern look, and busied himself pulling some documents out of a folder.

"In exchange for the disruptions this will cause you, I've talked to Teddy and decided it's time you girls to take a step up in the industry. I know you write quality songs, so I will let you compose a full sample of a ballad-"

Their faces immediately lit up.

"-including music, which you will hand over to our producers for inspection. If we decide you are ready, all four of you can go ahead and produce the whole song with the guidance of our team. If it's good enough, it will be included in your next comeback, and after that, you will have much more liberty to compose your own music with our approval."

All four girls had a hard time containing their shouts of joy. Jennie got up and bowed a full 90 degrees.

"Thank you very much for the opportunity, sajangnim. We will do our best." The rest bowed with her. CEO Yang had the faintest trace of a smile on his face.

"As for the show, it will be very similar to Blackpink House. It will last 100 days, but it will be in a mansion on Jeju Island instead of Seoul. All 11 of you will interact, and the main goal of the show is for the public to see the way your friendship evolves."

"Sajangnim, half of the globe ships us with BTS. How would you like us to handle that?" Jennie asked directly.

He sighed.

"I've thought about that for some time...and I've decided that it's time to lift the dating ban."

Jisoo looked up but quickly put her head down again, twiddling her thumbs idly.

"Now, I don't want you getting too close throughout the show. But minor signs of affection will be allowed, and if something happens between any of you, we will decide what to do from there.

"Well, that is all for today," YG wrapped up. You'll be off to Jeju in two weeks, so make sure they don't pack last minute, Jennie."

...

"Well, I guess it's not too bad," Rosé said slowly as they stepped outside to wait for their manager.

"Yeah but...with Taehyung there-"Jennie murmured with a blank look on her face.

"And Jungkook," Lisa butted in.

"-chaos is sure to ensue." Jisoo finished, mostly nervous about Jin. Even with the rest of the members getting closer, she and Jin had succeeded avoiding each other until then.

Rosé suddenly giggled.

"I'm kind of looking forward to it."

They all looked at her like she was crazy. Sure, they knew the boys, but with millions of eyes on them they weren't sure how they were supposed to pretend they'd never met before.

"What? Jimin's nice, he'll help us get through this."

"Oooh, somebody's in love," Lisa teased the girl she considered her twin sister. Chaeyoung blushed and pushed her and Jisoo away, who were making kissy faces at her.

"Shut up," she grumbled.

"We'll be fine," Jisoo assured the girls, putting her arms around them. "Food's always free in shows like these, so I'll get to eat a lot of chicken!"

Everyone groaned except Rosé, who brightened at the mention of food.

sorry for the lame chapter.

fun fact: i hate YG, i'm just too lazy to make him the villain in this crap story so i made chaeyoung evil instead 🤡

we still love her though :))
