"Ms. Hofferson!"
My head shot up in surprise and found myself in the classroom. My classmates are looking at me, and Mrs. Rudolph is standing in front of my table with an angry look.
Oh no... I'm in big trouble.
"Sleeping in my class eh?" She says, hands on her big hips.
I rub my eyes with a groan of frustration, "I'm sorry ma'am I didn't mean to sleep in your c-
"If that's what you're going to do today, slacking off, then I suggest you leave my class for today Ms. Hofferson." The teacher cuts me off and pointed her wooden stick to the door.
I heaved a heavy sigh. I'm both frustrated and embarrassed at the same time. Not wanting to cause more trouble I grab my bag and went to the exit, leaving the classroom without even looking back.
I need something to wake me up. Maybe a little sip of coffee will do.
I stop by at the cafeteria to grab a cup of coffee but I realized I didn't like the taste of it and changed my order to hot chocolate instead. I went to take a seat at the usual table. With my arms crossed on the table I timidly took small sips from my drink.Hiccup is to blame for this. If he hasn't sent me that picture I would be sleeping peacefully last night, and I must've forgotten about the kiss on the cheek I gave him last night!
I couldn't even look him in the face when he arrived."What are you doing here?" I look up to see Gogo standing in front of me with a cup of the same hot chocolate I have.
"Mrs. Rudolph kicked me out of the class for sleeping," I explain with a sigh. "I didn't meant to."
"Teachers." She smirks. "They always act all mighty when they found you doing a little mistake."
"Tell me about it." I say in sarcasm.
Gogo took the seat in front of me and drank from her cup.
This highschool looking student is actually a college student. Yes, she and Hiro are super smart they finished highschool in just their early teenage years and are now inventing stuff with the help of Science and technology."What are you doing here?" I ask her.
Gogo puts her cup down and licks her lips, "I skipped Laboratory for now, I didn't find the will to do anything related to Science today." She say.
"It's amazing you do things with Science but you're also a magical being." I say in a small voice, careful no one will hear me.
She shrugs her shoulders, "Science is just anything they can give an explanation with the help of gadgets and gizmos, but never in the field of Science they explained any theory about magical beings, nor even know they exist."
"Maybe Science still doesn't explored that field yet." I say.
"Science cannot explain magic, maybe the other magic tricks can be explained but not us." Gogo say, she took another sip from her cup then look at me with her big brown eyes, "Since we're both unoccupied, and classes will be cut this afternoon why don't we begin your training?"
"Oh..sure I don't mind." I say.
Gogo took out her phone and dialed a number, when someone pick up from the other side of the line she began talking, "Astrid and I will go to the said location now, meet us there after your classes." Then she hangs up.
"Let's go." She told me and stand up. I followed her and we stop in the parking lot where a cool yellow big bike is parked. I assume this is hers.
Gogo took out a pair of keys and got on the bike.
I notice something odd about the bike, the wheels are a bit thinner and made out of what I think is metal, and it doesn't have any gears and bolts on it, the wheels are unattached but attached to it with some magnet I think. You get what I'm saying?
