Enigma: Dawn of the Champions (Hiccstrid/Httyd fanfic)

Part 32

(Warning: This part can be a little bit corny and cliche)

If this is what doomsday looks like, then I would like to run back to my house in Mildew City and lock my room and hide under my blanket, but then I realized that I'm one of the powerful species on Earth, a Champion, and I hold the Celestial magic and I can't hide under blankets.

"Watch out!"

KRA-BOOM!

I warily look around of what just happened, I'm lying on the ground after Hiccup push us down when a piece of a building is about to fall and crush.

We quickly got up to our feet, running away from the dangerous areas.

"We have to find Morgana and put a stop to this thing." Elsa say as she shatter a falling debris that's about to fall on us into small pieces.

"But the question is, where?" Jack ask.

"We'll figure it out later." Gogo say. "But now, let's find a place far away from falling buildings."

The ground begins to shake again and strong winds blow.
Suddenly, a tornado suck us inside of it and we spin violently, hoping that we wouldn't feel sick.

Elsa and Jack tried freezing the whirlwind to stop it but the wind is too strong and uncontrollable.

"Astrid look out!" Hiccup shoots a green streak of his powers and shatter a large debris about to hit me.

The spinning slowly stops, and gravity suddenly pulled us downward and we fall on the ground, hitting our backs on the hard ground. I think an electric shock just run down my spine.

"You guys okay?" I ask my friends who are groaning as they try to stand up steadily.

I look around to find that we're in the Haddock grounds. Elsa's mother and the other Council members are standing in front of us.

"Astrid!" Someone called from the group, then came out a slim blonde girl whose green eyes are very familiar to me.

"Ruffnut!" I run towards her and give her a big bug.

"Are you alright? Are you hurt?" She ask.

"I'm fine." I say, assuring her. "Don't worry about me. Since when did you arrive?"

"Just a moment ago, before all this madness began." She say. I give her another hug. I'm so glad my best friend is here to fight along beside me. We then turn to the grown ups who seems to be arguing with my friends.

"Mom? Did you summon that tornado just to bring us home?" Elsa ask her mother.

"Yes my dear," Mrs. Arendelle say. "Stoick ordered me to do so, and bring you back here to keep you safe."

"Safe? But we're not safe." Gogo say. "And why bring us back if we can fight?"

"No Leiko," Mrs. Tanaka argued, stepping forward from the formation. "You are not ready."

"Not ready? Oka-san, we trained our whole life for this, and now the time has come for us to challenge our skills now you say we're not ready??" Gogo yelled, I can sense her anger boiling inside of her. "This is ridiculous, we're not little kids anymore who hide behind our mother's backs!"

"She's right Mrs. Tanaka," Hiccup steps up. "And besides, this is also our fight, Astrid is involved in here and wherever she is, we have to be there too."

"Then I guess there's one thing we can do to stop this once and for all." I say.

Everyone look at me in worry, as if they know what's going on in my head. Hiccup hold me by the shoulders and give me a worried look, "Are you sure?" He ask.
