"Will you be alright in town while I'm at work?" Dad asks for the thousandth time in the past five minutes, making me roll my eyes with a smile.

"Yes dad, now just drop me off at the outlet and I'll be fine. If I bump into one of my friends then they'll stay with me, it's okay dad." I say reassuringly as I slip in my converse high tops with the watermelons on it.

"Okay but if you need anything call me immediately

"Okay but if you need anything call me immediately." Dad says as I slide my phone in my pocket with my money and nod.

"Of course dad." I say as we leave the house and hop into the car before dad turns the car on and and drives towards the outlet.

"Don't forget time call me, and if one of your friends comes and picks you up tell me so I won't get worried." I roll my eyes as dad pulls into the outlet parking lot.

"Yes dad." I say before opening my door and getting out, closing the door behind me and waiting for dad to leave before making my way down through the outlet.

I walk around Barns N Noble and head straight for the teen romance section, reading the summaries of books that looked interesting. I chewed my on bottom lip as I heard someone with heavy feet practically stomping up to me.

"I can hear you." I say as I turn around to see Brayden standing there getting ready to scare me.

"D*mn it, why do you gotta so me like that shorty? You have super hearing." I snort as I shake my head.

"Or you're not as quiet as you think you are." I say pointedly as I pick up another book and begin to read the summary.

"I'm pretty quiet. Quieter than most people." I roll my eyes as I set the book down and pick up another one.

"Yeah, if you call a beard of elephants quieter than most people." I roll my eyes as I set the book down and walk to the other side of the shelf as Brayden follows me and places his hands on his hips, "truth hurts doesn't it?" I smirk as I look up at him to see him with his mouth open, "close your mouth before something flies in there." I giggle before walking towards the cash register to pay for my books, hearing Brayden follow me.

"I do not sound like a heard of elephants when I walk for you information, missy."

"Oh no, he pull the 'missy' card. Run away and scream in terror. Ahhh!" I fake scream as I pay for my books and grin before walking out the door.

"Hey don't walk away when I'm talking to you." Brayden huffs as I chuckle before I make the song reference to the Hannah Montana movie when she sings 'Don't walk away when I'm talking to you'. I shake my head as I begin walking down the sidewalk.

"Paisley wait up!" Brayden says as he grabs my arm, spinning me around.

"Yes Yogi? What do you want?" I raise my eyebrows as I smirk making Brayden rolls his eyes.
