It's time to get ready for the homecoming game and I'm so excited! I can't wait! I've never been on homecoming court and it's crazy! I smile as I squeal before slipping into my blue dress and sigh, looking in a mirror in the cheer room. I slip my white wedges on my feet that clip around my ankle and with flowery designs on the heel.

I twirl around before applying mascara and lip gloss before hanging my uniform up with everything I needed to change into after I get recognized. I place my cheer shoes on my bag and unclip my bow that I wore at the pep rally and place it on my cheer shoes and socks. I walk out and find Yogi wearing his uniform and pacing back and forth before he spots me and stops. A smile appears on his face as I walk towards him.

"Wow, you look amazing." I smile as I feel my cheeks heat up before tucking a piece of hair behind my ear.

"Thank you." I smile as he pulls me into a hug.

"Anytime shorty." I grin as he let's go of me and links our arms together before we walk out of the school building and towards the white building where we wait until it's time.

"I'm so excited! I can't wait!" I say as Kimberly walks in alone, wearing a tight champagne colored dress that stopped above mid thigh and black strapped heels. I cringe as she walks past us, waiting for Dylan before he walks in. She looks like a hoe.

"You'll do great tonight, I can feel it." Yogi says as I roll my eyes before smiling.

"Thanks." I say as Yogi nods.

It's now half time, Yogi had to leave so he could play in the game but he left early so he could get here on time. He smiled as he grabbed my hand and pulled me outside where we wait in the center of the field before I place my hand in the crook of his arm.

"You look great Nugget, you're going to do great. Don't be nervous I'm right here." I smile as he says reassuringly before the same announcer taps the mic.

"Good evening ladies and gentlemen! Tonight is homecoming night! Now let's read off the candidates! First is Miss Kimberly Dickerson! A junior at Rosalyn high school of Texas and is in class committee and on the volleyball team. Her future plans are to travel out of state to attend college to become a designer! Miss Kimberly Dickerson!" Everyone claps as her and Dylan was down the field before their picture is taken and they go to the right and stand as the announcer goes on.

"Next is Miss Paisley Brookstone! She is a junior at Rosalyn High school of Texas and is on the cheerleading team and also in class committee and making a new club to help special needs students. Her future plans consist of going to Texas state university for college to become a veterinarian and travel around the world to help injured animals. She is in all honors and AP classes and one of the top students in her class even though she's new here. Miss Paisley Brookstone everyone!" We walk forward as everyone claps, our picture being taken as I wave at my dad and my team before we walk off towards the left.
