I zipped up my skirt that was a little hard to put on because it's so tight and well...my thighs wouldn't let it slide up. I push my sleeves up a bit as I fix my hair and apply lip gloss and pop my lips. Hayley told me to wear this outfit today after we went shopping yesterday after school and she thought this one would look good on me. Not gonna lie; it looks amazing. It hugs my body just right and shows off my curves and Hayley was right! I look great! I smile as I look at my skirt that stops a little but above mid thigh and slip into my black lace flats before grabbing my backpack and phone.
I sigh as I walk out of my front door as Hayley honks with a smile as I walked up to her car and hopped in and buckled up.
"Ooh mama! You look hot! I was right! Let's go." Hayley squeals as we speeds off towards school before handing me my cheer bag that I put in her car the day before and pulls into the schools parking lot. She parks under her tree before we both get out and walk inside, heading to our lockers as I open my locker door and placing my cheer bag on the floor of my locker before grabbing everything I needed and placed it in my backpack.
I step back and close my locker door as I turn around, looking down at my phone before seeing someone's shoes stopping next me as I look up to see Yogi standing there awkwardly with his hands shoved in his pockets.
"Oh um...hi." I say awkwardly as I put my phone in my backpack as I clasp my hands in front of me as I twist my body as I wait for him to say something. Anything.
"I-I um, I wanted to talk to you." Yogi says as I press my lips together and look at him expectantly, "um...why is this so hard to say?" Yogi runs the back of his neck and he looked down just as the bell rang, "umm I gotta go, I'll tell you later. See ya." Yogi books it towards his class as I'm left there standing in the hallway confused more than ever as Hayley takes my hands and drags me towards our class
********************************************The bell rings telling us it's time for lunch as I gather my things and hold them to my chest as I walk out and towards my locker, opening it and tippy toeing as I placed everything on the top shelf, hanging my backpack up. I grab my phone before closing my locker door as Yogi approaches me as grabs my hand as he pulls me away from my locker and towards the secluded corner in the east hall. I look at him as he picks up his pace before stopping and letting his backpack fall to the ground as he faces me.
"I'm so sorry, Paisley." I flinch as he uses my real name before holding my phone with both hands as I looked down and gulped, "I'm so so so sorry. I shouldn't have done that I was so stupid. I felt terrible when I saw your face, you looked so hurt and like everything inside you tore apart and ugh! I'm a terrible person. Can you please forgive me? I didn't mean to hurt you." I look at him as I take in a breath and cock my head to the side before clearing my throat.
"Don't apologize, you can kiss whoever you like or make out with them or do whatever. I don't care, I don't control your life or your decisions so it shouldn't and doesn't bother me." Yes it does.
Yeah I know but he doesn't need to know that.
"W-what?" Yogi looks at me like he didn't hear me clearly as I look down and rock on my feet.
"Do what you want, I don't care. It doesn't bother me. I don't control your life so I don't care who you kiss or date for that matter. Live your life, Brayden." I see him flinch when I used his real name as I look down before turning on my heel and walking towards the lunch room.
~Brayden~
I slam my fist against the wall as I watch her retreating figure, her fine retreating figure like really fine. I rub my face as I shake my head and place my hands on my hips before walking down the hall and follow nugget into the lunch room. I get stopped by someone's hand pushing me back into the hall before I look down and realize it's Kimberly smiling at me.
"Hey Brayden, let's go to our spot." I stop as she runs into my chest face first before she backs up and rubs her nose.
"No, I'm getting lunch before I can't anymore." I say as Kimberly frowns before smirking.
"I saw you with her. If you don't stop talking to her and being friends with her I will actually ruin her future. My daddy is the principle at this school and he can get her expelled and she won't be able to go to college and if she tries to get a job it'll back fire. You date me and it'll all go away and never happen. If you decide to continue to be friends with her then it's all over for you and her. So what's it going to be?" I growl at her as she crosses her arms.
"As long as you leave her alone, you mess with her one tiny bit even if you as so much as to look at her wrong I'll end your future." I growl at her as she smiles wickedly up at me.
"Deal." I roll my eyes as she grabs my arm and wraps it around her waist before pulling me towards the lunch room before we walk in and everyone looks at us, some even rolling their eyes. Me too dude, me too. I look over at nugget as she throws her hands up in the air as she talks to Hayley and Henry before her eyes find me and her hands drop before Hayley and Henry looked behind them, disappointment on their faces as they shake their heads. Nugget looks back at Hayley and Henry before continuing her rant or whatever it was that she was doing as she ate her food. But I couldn't help but notice the flash in her eyes momentarily, I don't know what it was but I saw it.
What are you doing man?
It's only for nugget, I can't put her future in jeopardy.
Whatever man.
I know I messed up, don't rub it in my face.
