Apollo Cabin One-Shots

Monster under my bed

"Lights out, everyone!" Will announced, stepping into the cabin.
"Will, there's literally only three of us. That's a bit unnecessary, " Kayla flopped onto her bottom bunk.
"It's not unnecessary. I'm the Head Counsellor, " Will grumbled. Austin laughed before getting glared at by Will.

As Austin walked over to his and Will's bunk bed, Kayla gave him a high five. Will cleared his throat and stared at his siblings. Austin hurried up the ladder and lied down. Sighing loudly, Will put his things on the table and lied down in his bed.
"Good night, " he said wearily. Kayla and Austin muttered a reply and all was silent in Cabin 7.

"Kayla?"
"Yes, Austin?" Kayla sat up to look at her brother.
"I'm scared, " he replied, rubbing his arms.
"Be quiet, I'm trying to sleep, " Will mumbled. Kayla and Austin shared a look and tried hard not to laugh.
"Why are you scared, Austin?" Kayla sat on the edge of her bed to see her brother better.
"There's a monster under my bed, " Austin whispered loudly.
"What the heck, guys?" Will complained. Kayla and Austin laughed as Will looked at them with a pout on his face. Laughing as well, Will got out of his bed and threw pillows at his siblings.

Austin's fell off his bed but Kayla caught hers, much to Will's annoyance.
"You're not getting this back now, " she announced. Smiling widely, Kayla leapt out of bed and stomped towards the window.
"Kayla, no. Don't you dare!" Will exclaimed, walking towards her. Kayla stuck the pillow out of the window and let go.
"Oops, " Kayla grinned and jumped into her bed.

"Kayla! Get my pillow back now!" Will ran over to the window, trying to grab it. Kayla began to snore in her bunk.
"She's not actually asleep already, is she?" Will turned to Austin, who shrugged and lied down. Will sighed and struggled to take the high ground and just go to bed. However as he walked past Kayla's bed, he tugged her duvet off of her onto the floor but wasn't mean enough to chuck it put the window. He grinned a little bit as he lay down on his one pillow.
