Promise By The Ferris Wheel (N x Reader)

Part 26: Zekrom

"No way... What do we do now?" Chandelure says, lowering herself to your level.

"Do you even need to ask that?" Zoroark spits. "We have to stop him!"

"But how? By now he's probably all the way on the other side of the region!"

He turns on you. "Y/N, you woke up with a stone too, right?"

"Yes... How did you know?" you ask.

"Lucky guess. But look, you can just summon Zekrom and go after him, right?"

"And... how would I do that?"

"Well, try doing it the same way N did!"

You pull out the Dark Stone and slowly raise it to the sky. "Zekrom!" you call. "I need your help!"

a. "N's going to make some really big mistake, and I need your help to stop him!"

b. "If I don't find a way to stop N, he's going to separate people and Pokémon forever!"

c. "The entire Unova Region is in danger!"

"I know I'm technically not from this world, so it shouldn't matter to me..." You lower your arm slightly.

a. "But I've made so many memories and met so many nice people! I can't let all of them suffer!"

b. "But this world has always been an escape for me! It's important to me!"

c. "But I can't sit by and do nothing!"

"So please!!!"

(how's that? I just let you customize your own hero speech)

There's a flash of lighting, and a deafening boom of thunder shakes the tower.

To avoid falling, you lean on Chandelure for support.

A rough growl sounds through the area, followed by a mighty snarl.

With another crash of thunder, Zekrom appears before you.

"I have answered your call, human."

You look up at him in amazement and terror.

"Well? Don't we have a Region to save?"

Yeah, he's not going to hurt you.

You return Chandelure and Zoroark to their Pokéballs and find a way to hop onto Zekrom's back.

"So, it appears we were a bit too late."

You look around for where Colress' voice could have just come from, before looking down at your wrist, on the Xtransceiver.

"Hello, Y/N. Looks like you've summoned Zekrom. This is quite the turn of events, isn't it?"

"Why did you call?" you ask.

"Calm down, I'm getting there. I'll have you know N is making his way to the Team Plasma Headquarters. See, Ghetsis left the castle shortly after you and N did. I believe N thinks he went there."

"Thank you for the information Colress, but why are you telling me this?"

"Well, I find this quite entertaining. Out of all the trainers I brought here, aside from Black, you are the first to be willing to make a mark on the Unova Region. I look forward to seeing how you do. Now go save the world!"

He hangs up.

"Let's go!" Zekrom takes off, soaring away with his powerful wings.

You squeeze your eyes shut, as Zekrom seems to be going a thousand kilometers in just a matter of seconds.

"Haha, the thing about Reshiram is she can't fly as fast as me! We might even arrive before her and N!"

"I hope you're right!" you yell. Your voice gets drowned out by the wind.

You slowly open your eyes and look up at the late-afternoon sky. There aren't any Pokémon flying around, probably because it's late, but you can't help but wonder if it's because of N and Reshiram.

"Near Accumula Town, right?" Zekrom asks.

You tell him 'yes,' but you don't think he can hear you, so you pat his back reassuringly.

With an almost 90 degree angle drop, Zekrom flies down, either ignoring or not hearing your screams.

A/N: Oof this was a short chapter. I'm sorry but-
