Tiffany opens the back door and wipes her boots on the mat before stepping inside the house. She has just finished her morning chores and is going to make lunch when she notices someone in her kitchen and the smell of something delicious.
"Err... who are you?" she asks the western man who appears to be cooking.
"Oh hi."
Tiffany turns her head at the sound of a familiar voice to see Taeyeon walking inside the kitchen, hair still wet from the shower.
"Back from your morning chores?" asks the blonde as she sits at the dining table.
"Yes. Who... what is this?" Tiffany points at the quiet cook who continues his task as if it's his own kitchen.
"Oh that's Dennis. He's my personal chef. He'll be cooking for us while I'm here," Taeyeon tells Tiffany who frowns a little. "I think Seohyun has contacted Yuri about it."
"I'll stay out of your way," the man in the black apron finally speaks-his accent thick and a bit funny-while smiling at Tiffany understandingly. "I also brought my own knives and some pots and pans so I will not ransack your kitchen."
"I... see. Right. Excuse me. I need to make a call," Tiffany hurriedly says, walking out of the back door once more.
Once she's a safe distance away from the house, she dials Yuri's number and taps her foot impatiently as she waits for her friend to pick up.
"Yo, what's up?" says Yuri.
"Why didn't you tell me about the chef?"
"What chef?"
"Miss Hot Shot's personal chef. He's in my kitchen right now, cooking and whatever like it's his own place!"
"Oh he's here already? Seohyun mentioned something about Taeyeon needing her personal chef. Didn't know that he came with her," replies Yuri.
"Apparently he'll be here for as long as she's here. Our food is not good enough for her or something?" retorts Tiffany, clearly unhappy with the stranger in her home.
"Now now, calm down, Fany. Maybe she has particular needs, health issues or something," Yuri tries to get her friend to calm down. "Besides, he won't be staying in the house. Seohyun said they'd arrange for his accommodation so as not to bother us. Look at the bright side, we won't have to cook for a week! That's at least two chores less each day!"
Tiffany rolls her eyes then tells her friend to hurry back from town, where she's currently doing some grocery shopping.
She turns around and heads back inside the house to find Seohyun now sitting with Taeyeon, eating soup. Next to her, on the table in front of the empty seat, is another full bowl of soup, waiting for someone to eat it.
"Hi, Unnie," Seohyun greets Tiffany with a warm smile. "Come and have lunch with us." She pats the empty seat and pulls out the chair for Tiffany who thanks her and awkwardly sits down.
"Talked to Yuri?" Taeyeon asks the brunette sitting across from her.
Tiffany is surprised but nods, picking up her spoon. "Where will he be staying?"
