It's been weeks since Taeyeon's first batch of workers arrived at the farm with Sunny at the helm and the careful yet cheerful Yoona always standing at the sidelines, making sure that everything goes according to plan.

Tiffany is adjusting but she's getting along well with everyone thanks to her kind heart and naturally warm personality. Some of the workers even started calling her "Mother" because of her caring nature, always making sure that they eat well and on time and that they're comfortable while on the ranch. Even though the place isn't hers anymore, she still considers it her responsibility to be a good host and to take care of them while they're there.

Yuri is secretly glad to see her friend slowly opening up and adjusting to the change. It will take more time until Tiffany returns to her old bright self but seeing how she interacts with the workers convinces her that it won't be long till she gets her dear childhood friend back.

As per Taeyeon's request, construction happens at a constant and efficient pace. The foundation for the new building is set and the bare frames of what would be the guests' lodging are in place.

The blonde hasn't been back since her last visit but she has sent Dennis the chef not only to cook for everyone there but also to accompany an agriculture expert who came to check the condition of the soil and find out what kind of plants or crop they can grow there.

Tiffany showed the guests around but no one told her the result of the inspection or tests so she just assumed that it would all be explained later on, during a later phase of the renovation.

That Sunday afternoon, as she returns her horse to the stall after a quick ride up the mountain, she finds a familiar blonde in the building, looking at the unoccupied spaces and the unused riding equipment.

"Hello," Taeyeon greets the brunette, having heard her and the horse approaching.

"Good afternoon. I didn't know you were coming," says Tiffany as she leads the horse into its home, taking off the saddle and reins. She continues her routine of brushing the animal and giving it a treat, letting Taeyeon watch her from the stall door.

Taeyeon never takes her eyes off of Tiffany, observing her every gesture and action, how tenderly she treats the horse, how she unconsciously smiles a little as she pats her four-legged friend. She notices the bright yet mellow look in Tiffany's eyes, as if the horse brings her joy yet sadness at the same time.

"How long have you had her?" she asks.

"Since she was born," says Tiffany, patting the horse lovingly. "I was about to enter high school back then."

"So how old is she?"

"She's fourteen." The brunette picks up the saddle and reins and walks past Taeyeon to put them away. She waits until they're walking back towards the house before asking, "What were you doing at the stables?"

"Checking its condition," answers Taeyeon. "Someone just gave me a horse so I needed to check whether I could house it here."

"Someone gave you a horse?" Tiffany turns her head towards Taeyeon. "Just like that?"

The blonde nods. "It's older than your horse but that animal has a kind nature. It's used to giving rides to children too so it's perfect for this place."
