Taeyeon exhales and flexes her hand that's stiff from having grabbed the jeep frame so hard for such a long time.

"See? Told ya we'd be okay," Tiffany says as she turns the engine off and stretches. Then she takes off her sunglasses and fixes her hair, shaking her long brown tresses, completely unaware of the blonde that's staring at her with eyes wide and mouth agape. When she fixes her lip gloss and reapplies some sun cream, Taeyeon's jaw drops slightly lower.

Taeyeon has seen many beautiful people-some trying hard to get her attention and love-but never has anyone looked as beautiful as this woman who is completely unaware of her own beauty and charm, who's free of pretense and hidden agendas and who shares a similar fate.

"Come on." Tiffany jumps out of the jeep and grabs her backpack.

Taeyeon follows suit, walking a short distance into the trees where a log cabin sits. She has indeed seen it before but thought it was an abandoned cabin or a place for hikers to stop and rest during a hike.

The exterior does look worn but at the same time, the building looks as sturdy as Tiffany claimed it to be. There's a pile of chopped wood at the side of the house, kept dry by a small makeshift aluminum roof. In front of the house is a round indentation on the ground, surrounded by stones. Taeyeon assumes that it's a place for the campfire.

The brunette takes out a key and opens the door. "Whoa. Dusty," she remarks, frowning as she uses her hands to clear the air before opening the windows.

Taeyeon steps inside and takes a look around. The place is indeed dusty, proof that no one has been there for a long time. She sees a simple cabin with a fireplace with two chairs and a wooden table in front of it and a small kitchen in the corner. There's also a rocking chair and what looks like an armchair. The furniture is covered with cloth and there's a broom and a bucket leaning against the wall near the kitchen.

"The best thing about Daddy is his understanding of his daughter's needs," remarks Tiffany as she points to a door in the back of the cabin. "A separate bedroom and indoor bathroom with running water. There is no outhouse."

"Thank goodness," mumbles Taeyeon, rolling up her sleeves. She knows that the first step would be cleaning the place so they can at least sit down and eat lunch.

It takes them two grueling hours to clean the place and by the time they're done, Taeyeon and Tiffany look like they've just slaved in the mines.

The brunette laughs when she sees cobwebs stuck to Taeyeon's blonde hair and picks them out with her fingers. "I'm so sorry for making you do this," she says, knowing that Taeyeon probably never lifted a finger in her life before. Now she shovels horse droppings, forks hay and cleans abandoned cabins like a normal farm girl. Yet she doesn't complain and Tiffany appreciates that a lot. "You even got some on your face."

Taeyeon remains still while Tiffany tries to clean her hair and face, clenching her fists so that she won't do embarrassing things now that they're standing so close together. She can feel Tiffany's breath on her face and she uses the opportunity to take a mental picture, imprinting the messy yet still beautiful woman's face in her mind. Every time Tiffany's fingers brush her skin, goosebumps spread on her arms.

"There," says Tiffany, happy with the result. She puts her hand down and finally notices Taeyeon's eyes. The look sends flutters down to the pit of her stomach, catching her totally off guard. "W-why are you lo-looking at me like that?" she stutters.
