Taeyeon unconsciously hears a faint thud, waking her up. She frowns and huffs, reluctant to leave the dream world.
But then she senses another presence and hears rustling sounds so she opens her eyes only to see Tiffany lying next to her, facing her.
Now she’s truly awake although she remains still, basking in the gentle and caring look from the pair of puppy eyes observing her.
“Do you know what time it is?” asks Tiffany.
Taeyeon shakes her head.
“It’s seven. In the morning. AM.”
“What?” mumbles Taeyeon, frowning as she rolls on her back and stretches. “7 AM? How?” she asks as she returns to her previous position, lying on her side, facing Tiffany.
“You slept through the night,” remarks Tiffany. “You slept for over 15 hours. I even called Seohyun because I was so worried when you didn’t wake up for dinner. But she said it was probably because you’ve been lacking sleep and living unhealthily for so long.”
The blonde huffs and closes her eyes. “Please don’t nag,” she mumbles, making Tiffany chuckle. At the sound of the small laugh, she immediately opens her eyes again. It feels surreal to see a smiling Tiffany within arm’s reach.
“Let’s go back to the ranch,” the brunette says as she scoots off the bed. “I’m hungry.”
Taeyeon slowly moves, stretching once more before she sits up, only to notice that Tiffany’s wearing different clothes from yesterday. “Did you go back to the ranch when I slept?”
“No. Why?” replies the brunette as she packs her backpack.
“You’re wearing different clothes.”
“I took a shower and changed.”
“Oh. So you stayed?”
“Of course. How could I leave you here alone?”
“But… where did you sleep then?”
“Right next to a blond log,” remarks Tiffany as she zips her bag and turns around to see Taeyeon staring at her in confusion. “I meant you. You didn’t move an inch, you slept like a log and you’re blond-…”
“I get it,” interjects Taeyeon. “So we shared the bed?”
“Yes. Is that a problem?”
Taeyeon shakes her head and gets off the bed. “Let’s go then. I need a nice long hot shower.”

Tiffany steps out of the bathroom to see Yuri sitting on her bed. “Why are you here? Don’t you have work to do?”
“Why are you so cranky? Don’t you have a woman to kiss and make up with? Or make out with?” retorts Yuri, snickering at her own lame joke.
Tiffany rolls her eyes and moves to the vanity to dry her hair, hoping that her friend would go away. But as luck would have it, Yuri stays and waits until she’s done to start the one conversation she’s been avoiding since she came back to the ranch a few days ago.
