Yuri walks inside the kitchen to find Seohyun sitting at the dining table, typing on her laptop with an empty bowl and a mug next to her.
“What are you doing up?” she asks as she places her purse on an empty chair on her way to the fridge. “Still working?”
“Yeah and I was craving ice cream,” says Seohyun. “How was the date?”
“Meh.” Yuri pulls the fridge open. “Is there any foo-… oh yes! Dennis’ lasagna!” she exclaims as she takes out a tupperware containing leftovers from dinner.
“You just came back from a dinner date,” Seohyun states, clearly amazed by how hungry Yuri seems to be.
“It was a first date and an awkward one at that so I barely ate.” Yuri also takes out a container of salad. “You should stop working and join me for supper.”
“I’m still full from the ice cream. Besides, I still have to finish this,” replies the assistant as she continues typing on her laptop.
“Your boss is so cruel… making you work so late like this,” Yuri jokingly remarks as she warms up the lasagna. Then suddenly, she hears something from the back porch and peeks through the glass of the backdoor to see two women sitting on the swing. “They’re out there again?”
Seohyun hums.
“So it’s been… three nights now?” asks Yuri as she goes back to preparing her meal.
“Yup.” Seohyun looks up from her laptop. “I guess they have a lot of catching up to do,” she says.
“Taeyeon told you about their deal?”
“If you’re talking about their agreement to start over honestly then yes,” answers Seohyun. “I just hope Fany unnie won’t change her mind after she hears the entire story. Taeyeon unnie’s life is… complicated.”
“Complicated is an understatement. I still can’t get over what you told me about the abduction threats and attempts. I wouldn’t wish that on anyone let alone a young girl,” Yuri says with a sigh, feeling bad for Taeyeon. “Well, Fany might be able to help. Although she lost her mother, she had a loving father and a pretty normal childhood despite her tough adult life.”
She then takes out the lasagna from the beeping microwave and sits across from Seohyun after placing all the food and drinks on the table.
“Let’s hope they get back together,” she says, lifting her glass for a toast. “To our dear friends.”
Seohyun chuckles and lifts her mug. “To our dear friends.”

Taeyeon jumps off the horse with a grunt. “Whoa,” she mumbles as she tries to maintain her balance before patting the horse and leading it back inside the stables.
Beside her, Tiffany smoothly gets off Ice Cream and follows Taeyeon and her horse.
“So what did the vet say?” the blonde asks once the horses are in the stalls. She’s leaning back against the stall door, watching Tiffany brush her mare.
“He said that they were both healthy and still able to breed, age wise.”
“In other words, we could give it a try?”
