"And you are sure that placing them in the moonlight will be enough?" I asked into the phone and heard Evaline sigh on the other end.
"Yes my dear. Moon cleansing has always worked for me and my crystals. Place them in a circle of salt outside and allow the moon and your elements to cleanse your crystals for you. You don't need to recite any spells just make sure that the moonlight will shine on your crystals during the night." I nodded at Evaline's explanation.
"Okay, thank you very much Evaline. I'll be sure to do that." I heard her hum on the other end.
"Good. Now I know that you have training and work tomorrow but was wondering if you would like Harry again tomorrow and bring him back home on Sunday?" Evaline asked and I grinned at this before nodding.
"Sure that would be great. Everyone will be home anyway so feel free to drop him off whenever and I'll see him when my shift at Halliwell's finishes for the day" I replied and heard Evaline talking in the background, though her voice was muffled, before I heard a happy cheer. I grinned and chuckled at this cheer. Obviously she'd repeated the message to my brother who had probably asked his Gran if he could stay with me again, even though Harry staying the night on a Saturday was a regular thing and had been since I'd first learned who he was. Evaline always brought Harry over whenever I was at work and he would wait eagerly for my return home, though the Halliwells would find a way to keep him partially entertained until I came back home.
"See you soon then, my dear." I nodded, even though she couldn't see me.
"You too Evaline." At that I placed the phone back onto its handset before sighing and walking into the living room where I gathered the box containing my crystals from the table and picked them up before making my way out to the yard.
I took a deep breath, taking in the smell of the grass and the fresh air before I looked up at the sky, which had now darkened and the moon shone, surrounded by the flickering stars. I blinked, looking up at the moon before shaking my head and focusing on the box of crystals that I held in my hands.
I'd remembered these crystals a few hours ago, not long after we all got home, after the coven of witches had freaked out about the demon and learning of my demonic heritage. Evaline had actually stood up for me by saying that I was her granddaughter and that I would never hurt another living being. I had argued and said I'd probably harm spiders- especially if they walked over my face- because they still freaked me out at the age of sixteen.
After getting home, Piper had returned to work along with Aunt Phoebe and Aunt Paige so it had just been the four of us at home, meaning that Wyatt was in charge. I just shook my head at the siblings and they all knew to leave me alone though I believed Chris would probably explain what had happened to his brother and sister. He was a lot more in tune with my feelings nowadays and was getting closer to Wyatt's understanding of me. It seemed that as more time passed, we were becoming more like soulmates. Although I had noticed that Wyatt and Amy already seemed to have a special connection in their relationship.
With a sigh, I opened the lid on the old, wooden box and saw all of my crystals nestled in the velvet covering. I couldn't help but to smile as I looked at all six crystals. I couldn't help but to wonder if Evaline had perhaps discounted these crystals for me because she recognised me as her granddaughter all those months ago. Or if it was because she knew that no one would express an interest in these crystals since I was sure she'd said that they had been there for a year with no one showing any interest in them.
The rainbow quartz crystals glistened under the moonlight and I smiled at them, realising just how beautiful they were. I agreed with Evaline when she said that all crystals were more powerful and beautiful in their more natural forms.
