"Hey, you're okay" Wyatt reassured as he tapped my back and I continued coughing.
"Lila!" I heard Piper exclaim but gathered that she was happy that I was okay.
"Chr..." I began but started coughing.
"Don't talk yet. Breathe properly and you'll be fine. It is basically like drowning to get back to your body" Wyatt stated and I nodded as I tried sucking in air.
A bottle materialised in front of me and I blinked, seeing that Wyatt was offering me a drink so I took the bottle of water from him and unscrewed it. I hadn't realised how thirsty I was until the water hit my mouth and slid down my throat. I gulped greedily, the bottle becoming smaller as it lost air and made strange crackling noises with every gulp I took.
"Feel better?" I nodded at Wyatt's question as I placed the now empty bottle of water on the floor next to me before I looked up at my brother, smiling at him when I saw he was okay. He grinned and nodded.
"I'm fine. Don't worry." I frowned at him.
"Why would I worry about you?" I teased and he glared before smirking and shaking his head.
"You know you love me really."
I cleared my throat and looked around, seeing that everyone was still standing in the same places that they had been when I closed my eyes. I frowned at Wyatt and tilted my head.
"You're you again?" He just blinked at me and I sensed that something wasn't right. With a frown I focused on my body and found that despite my vision quest being over with, the elements still hadn't returned to me.
"We have to sort out the bonds we have before the elements will leave me and return to you." I hummed at Wyatt's statement before nodding.
"Has Chris arrived yet?" Wyatt shook his head and I sighed.
"It wasn't a dream, was it Wyatt? Everything will be okay, right?" He smiled and fluffed my hair affectionately.
"Based on the way you two kissed back in the vision quest, I'd say everything would be okay." I blushed at this before rubbing the back of my neck.
"Based on seeing your children, you and Amy will be fine." Wyatt tilted his head.
"Well, I guess that depends on you?" I sighed and nodded which made Wyatt pat my head but he left his hand there reassuringly.
"It's a big responsibility to have, Lila. I never want you to feel pressured into anything, okay? You choose what you believe is right for you. Don't let me or Chris or anyone else sway your decision. It's important that you choose to follow the path that you want." I smiled and nodded, feeling my heart beat strongly at the fact that Wyatt had told me exactly what my mom had told me.
The thought of my mom made my eyes water all over again and Wyatt sighed before pulling me to him.
"You got to see her after so long, Lila. I'm so happy for you."
"Thank you, Wyatt. It doesn't mean that I don't miss her." He sighed and I felt him nod against my head.
"I know, Lila. I know and I can't imagine how difficult it must have been for you to let her go like that." I hugged him tightly and held onto my brother for a little while longer before I took a deep breath and tapped his back, where he knew to let me go.
We sat on the floor of the library at Magic School, looking at each other carefully. Wyatt's blue eyes were brighter again and it was good to see his eyes, instead of the combined energy of the elements. I nodded at him.
"Thank you for being there today. I couldn't ask for a better big brother." He grinned at this and mussed my hair again.
"Do that again and I'm going to punch you" I huffed which made him grin at me.
