When I'm finished eating I have about 10 minutes to walk back to school which is perfectly fine.

When I get back I head to my locker but I see the vise principal walking towards me with papers in her hand. "Miss Williams?" I smile as she continues. "Sorry for the late notice but we are going to be moving you up to advanced biology 1. You seem to be getting straight A's in the bio class you're in now. You start today and it'll be your next class okay?"

I choke a little on the news after taking a sip of my water. "Oh... Um okay, that's fine thanks," I smile as she hands me my schedule even though it is the exact same just different bio class. I start walking in the direction of the class, books in hand, and once I get there I see no familiar faces. I walk up to the teacher. "Hi, I just got moved to this class, are there assigned seats?" I ask

She groans and rolls her eyes, "No kid, sit wherever." I'm a bit taken aback by her rudeness but I ignore it and walk to the very back. The desks are 2 per table so I go for back assuming no one would sit back here. I take out my large notebook and a mechanical pencil.

I sit awkwardly fiddling with my fingers until I look up at the noise of the classroom door opening it and See Josh Richards walk in and talk to the teacher which I assume is about being a little late. He smiles, his hair fluffy, joggers lose on his legs and shirt tight on his torso, silver chain dangling from his neck. Sure he was attractive but way out of my league. I notice him walking towards me so I open my notebook and writing the date in the left corner.

He towers over me, grinning wide, "Hi I'm Josh,"

I laugh "Savannah."

He sits next to me putting his bad on the floor and turning his head towards me, "I know," I give him a weird look, he chuckles, "I've seen you around a lot." I nod

"Well if it makes you feel better, I know you too." I laugh. And he's the one giving me a weird look this time. "Everyone in school knows who you are." I sigh quietly but look at the front of the class when the teacher starts talking.

"So today we are going to be taking a test, everyone in here should pass if not, that's not my fault." She states as she walks around passing out white packets labeled as 'biology Advanced one unit 6 Quiz' I sigh even louder realizing I might not know anything due to not taking this class to start off with.

Josh leans over my shoulder, sending chills down my spine as he whispers in my ear, "I can give you some of the answers if you need." I nodded biting my lip. I open the packet and put my name and date where it says then start reading the questions and answering the ones I could.

Midway through the test, I become distracted when I feel Josh's eyes on me. My pen is balancing between my teeth as I try answering the question but I don't know it even though it's multiple choice. He leans over again, "it's number C." He whispers and then I circle answer C then turn the page answering the rest of the question within an hour and the paragraph essay at the end within 15 minutes after everyone else had turned their paper in. After turning mine in the teacher announces that there are 15 minutes left of class and that we can chat the rest of the time. Me and josh play 20 questions such as "what's your favorite sport?" or "where were you born?" We both smile and laugh with each other but as soon as the class is dismissed and we say our goodbyes, the day drags on and I can't focus on anything but Josh. After the last bell rings I head to my locker putting away my textbooks but I'm startled because when I shut my locker I see Josh leaning up against the lockers next to mine.

"Hi Savannah, may I have your number?" I laugh and smile like a 5-year-old being able to eat her cake on her birthday holding my hand out as he puts his unlocked iPhone 11 Pro Max in my hand and I go to contacts putting my name as "Sav" then putting in my number.

"By the way, you are literally my new best friend." He laughs. And I do too.

"Why is that?"

"Everyone else got boring." He grins brightly upon me. I hand his phone back after pressing save on the phone and walking away. I walk home as usual but hear a loud thunder scream above me. Well shit. It's gonna rain. I walk home fast with my phone in hand. I start jogging hoping to warm up from the freezing 35-degree temperature. I run to my room and put on my white v-neck bikini top and stringy black, cheeky bottoms despite the goosebumps rising all over. (Photo shall be inserted at the beginning) I grab a speaker, towel, and my phone before running to my backyard and turning on the hot tub and waiting for it to reach one of its highest temperatures before getting in and soaking myself in the warm water.
