I couldn't pull myself to tell her. I can't. She'll get pissed, I can't tell her about the rumors that started because of Lucas and her.

//Savannah//
I take a deep breath. We are a bit early so We walk in and get a table for 10 which is a lot of people.

We get lead to the table and we sit next to each other with me on the end so I don't end up sitting next to anyone else. We talk for a little as two of the 8 people arrive, that being Avani And I think Anthony.

"Hi I'm Avani and this is my boyfriend Anthony!" She cheers. She leans down and hugs me and I hug her back oddly. I smile and I shake Anthony's hand as they sit down.

"I'm Savannah, are you guys seniors?" I ask politely.

"Yeah we both are and so are Dixie and Chase, Addison is a freshman in College, Payton is your age, And Charli and Noah are sophomores," Anthony states with his arm around Avani's shoulder.

"Oh... cool." I smile trying not to make it awkward by making eye contact.

As soon as they're done talking 3 boys walk in and head in our direction. When they make it towards us They start introducing themselves.

"Hey, Josh! Uh... Savannah I assume?" I nod. "Cool, I'm Chase,"

"I'm Payton."

"I'm Noah."

I smile sitting weirdly in my seat as they all sit down having their own conversation as soon as three girls walk in, Avani gets up and runs towards them greeting them with hugs before walking up to me. "Ok, is it ok if I call you Sav?" I nod, "cool so this is Addison, Charli, and Dixie." I smile. They all look nice and I think I'll be really good friends with them.

During dinner, we all crack jokes and get to know each other. I learned that Charli and Dixie are siblings, which makes sense they look alike. Charli and Chase are dating. Avani and Anthony are dating as they said, and Addison is dating a junior at her college. They all seem so happy and I'm here being quiet and weird.

We all exchanged phone numbers and they ask me to sit with them at lunch and I gladly take them up on the offer. I learn that I have Math with Payton which I never realized.

"So Sav, do you do any sports?" Chase asks sparking your conversation.

I nod. "I do volleyball and I did competitive dance for about 10 years but had to quit because apparently, I had been on the team for too long." I laugh then sip my Vanilla Milkshake.

"Wait are you joking? You could do Tik Tok dancing videos with me and Addison! Do you know any?" Charli grins and I nod.

"I surprisingly know a lot."

After dinner, we say our goodbyes and Avani says how there must be a sleepover soon with the 4 of us girls and I agree. She says she'll text me the details later and I hug everyone goodbye and we hop into Josh's car and he drives me home.

"You know, your friends are really nice." I'm play with the ends of my hair.

"Yeah I know, but do you know that they're your friends too." He says raising his eyebrows.

"Yeah, I guess you're right, I've never really had that many friends before though..." I trail off.

"Yeah.." he turns up the radio but it's cut short when we pull up in my driveway. "I'll text you later?"

"Yup, bye." I get out and walk to my front door opening it and shutting it after. I see my parents cuddled on the couch watching an action film. "Hey, mom!" I run over.

"Hey, sweetie! Who did you go with?" She asks earning a glare from my dad.

"Well, I think I have a friend group now and their names are Avani, Anthony, Charli, Dixie, Chase, Addison, Payton, Noah, and Josh," I state smiling. "Oh, Austin and Hailey are visiting in 3 weeks so I was wondering if they could stay here so that they don't have to pay for hotels?" My dad glares again, "Austin is Gay, Dad and it's only for fall break."

"Okay, that's fine." My dad says sternly.

I smile then walk upstairs and seeing the time is nearly 9:30 PM so I change into sweatpants and a t-shirt before turning off my lights and turning my fan on, then having the tired slumber take over.
