Day 3- Is Anyone Listening?
In a room filled with nothing but air,
and loneliness that settles in,
a mirror lies in front of me,
and here I begin:Lies on top of the table
is a curious stack of cards;
each one holds a question
that begs to win the reward. The first question screams aloud,
"Is what you feel right? Is it true?
That no one is listening,
not even you?"My reflection holds a deep sigh,
as I answer with frustration,
"How could you know
from just a sensation? Is communication that hard,
is it just a lost cause for you?
Are you really that afraid,
or do you not know what else to do?"Hear me scream out,
just like a colonizer!
As I grow older,
and as I grow wiser.
Spare your ears a minute.
Don't become a miser.Listen and put yourself
in other people's shoes.
Don't react to anything,
before taking time to choose.
